Not to threadjack, but I wouldn't say the series' "dark violent nature" has been toned down at all in GTA IV. If anything, those shadows have deepened. If you meant to imply that the violence is less gratuitous - then yes, it is. Consequences weigh heavier in GTA IV's scales than in any other game ...

For the first time since I've owned both systems, I'm glad I own a 360 and a PSP. It actually makes sense to me now.

Somewhat unbelievably, the 360 version was $28 at Target on Black Friday (and the following day). I waltzed in mid-morning and they had plenty still in the case.

"House of Cards" has grown on me. It could go on for another 5 minutes, and I'd be happy.

According to this (longish) thread , all 360 SKUs with a manufacture date of July 2007 onward (or, just going by the outside of the box, a lot # of 0728 or higher) will have the 65nm "Falcon" chipsets and additional heat sink, hopefully eliminating the RROD for good.
