There doesn't appear to be a way to use your EASHL player in any mode outside of league matches. You can always make a private OTP room (if recollection is correct) but you will be limited to the online roster of teams.

Don't shell out 50 beans. If you look hard you'll find one in a local EB or Gamestop. Although being in the south you might have a harder time finding one since I think it is a more popular sport there.

The game is great looking on my 32" standard zenith HDTV. No jaggies, no weird colors, sharp image. I'm using component cables. Even more impressive is the absence of stuttering even in widescreen mode. And the lack of online button lag is a step ahead of EA's MVP NCAA game.

Jason (from SGN) and I will both be online tonight. Look for us in the Amateur lobby. There usually isn't very many people in there so we'll be easy to spot. Anyone else welcome to join in and maybe we can get some round robin going. We like to play 20 minute match time.

Up is a powerful shot. Down is a weak shot. It's right in the manual. You can also hold shot and triangle or shot and x for a slightly powerful and slightly weaker shot.

i think you can stretch it, but not true widescreen.

You have to turn on your UDP settings on your router admin page. After that it should work.

I've been playing a lot of 05 and 06 with Jason online. Yes there is a lag on the meter and yes it takes an adjustment period compared to offline timing, but it is as easy to discern balls and strikes online as offline.
