I skipped all games last year but found myself jonesing pretty bad for a game. I never really liked FIFA online, too many kids (although co-op team play was fun).

I am really liking this game, goals are not easy (apparently neither or PK's). It is very picky about setting up your attack and quick to punish if you try to make passes at bad angles. You were right about the frustration, but so far..totally worth it!

I have been considering the HP Slate...it isn't all "App" infested but could be an interesting device. I like my iPAD since I travel a ton for work. All my music, movies and books on one device. fits perfectly in my comuputer bag

In No particular order:

Counter-Strike (PC) - I still can't believe how many hours I played this game.....
PES (Xbx) - Introduction into a real soccer game, amazing)
NHL 95 (Xbx) - College days, tourney's and winning money.
Ultima 4 (PC) - old Skool, hell of a game.
Street Fighter 2 (NES) - hours ...

I like it a lot better than 08....

The best thing about the game is that the goals are now regulation size, which means I don't keep nailing the crossbar and posts.....

I am still picking up PES09.

Wow, strange you have to install to the HD to get a good gaming experience.....I have not even thought about getting a PS3... I probably will only get one if BluRay wins the war against HD DVD...otherwise I will stick with a 360 and a Wii

Wow! That really gets the running game going when you can do that.

How many leagues did we have with PE2007?

I think it will take some getting used to....I would rather have a game that plays a little faster than one where the ball floats on air and the players move as if in quicksand.

All in all, I will wait to see how PE2008 turns out on the 360...

I have been playing FIFA now for a little while, and while i think the game looks very nice, the extra teams are wonderful, however, I have to agree with Zep, I think I really hate this game. the sad part is that I really want to like it ...
