No doubt. Maybe all the staff at "Freakland" should be thrown in jail. Don't forget the idiotic parents that let their kids stay with this freak. Money f***ed up everyones thinking involved here. Now the kids are footing the bill.icvu42 wrote:I'm not trying to defend Michael Jackson, but I have issues with the testimony of the security guard who claimed he saw Michael giving oral sex to the 9 year old boy. I guess my problem is , how can an adult witness that, and not take any action. He didn't try and stop it, he didn't run to the cops, he didn't confront Michael. He waited until he was subpoened before he said anything. If the security guard isn't lying, he should be locked up as well.

Yeah, I was thinking about that as well. CNN updated the article after I originally posted to include some details about the cross-examination. It looks like there are serious questions about the credibility of the witness. What a f*cked up case!icvu42 wrote:I guess my problem is , how can an adult witness that, and not take any action. I know but why would Jackson give this kid a settlement if he did nothing?Leebo33 wrote:Yeah, I was thinking about that as well. That is a lot of coin to keep someone quite. The boy received a financial settlement, reportedly between $15 million and $20 million, from Jackson in 1994. The boy did not cooperate with a police investigation and no charges were filed against Jackson. The boy is not scheduled to testify in the trial.

I think Jackson is probably guilty of *something*, but the witnesses have serious credibility issues (admitted lying in previous depositions, rulings that they acted with "fraud and malice" towards Jackson in the past, etc.) and he'll probably walk.JackDog wrote:I know but why would Jackson give this kid a settlement if he did nothing?Leebo33 wrote:Yeah, I was thinking about that as well. I agree.icvu42 wrote:I agree, but as a parent, there is no amount of money that would ever make me drop charges if someone did that to my daughter. I would sue the b*****d, but I would make sure he rots in jail first (if I didn't kill him already).JackDog wrote:
