Would be great.. although I'm off 11 days starting this Saturday. :)
I wouldn't count on that happening. There is so much not working with CFM it's hard to believe they weren't aware of the issues. My best bet is end of September for a patch. Right now the best experience with the game is pretty much any mode but CFM.

I'm not holding my breath.. oh well. By the time they get a patch out, I'll probably be deep into my NHL Blues franchise. :(

I think I just exp the cfm big. Was playing vs the bucs and won 41-3. Sure the cowboys on paper may actually be that better but the game felt like I was playing on rookie mode. Everything came so easy.

I hope my next games are challenging as my first 8 were.

Went back to play now for a change and it's perfect. Try a 415 game at Denver, the lighting plus the broncos orange unis look like a masterpiece.

I guess the bucs just suck. My next game vs Miami was a close one. Couldn't stop th in the 2 md half. Romo got hurt too. First Injury 9 games in but he was only out for a drive.

Weather is the same too so far in franchise. Hope yo get some rain or snow games in the 2nd half of the season.

That's the thing if you don't hit your drive goals the bug doesn't take effect. If you get a series of drive goals that are super easy then it's like hitting the bonus area in a pinball game. Personally i barely pay attention to those things so I don't want to miss them on purpose to have a normal game. I wish that whole thing was optional.

I really, REALLY, like the game this year BUT...

Drive goals is one of the most bone-headed things Madden has ever put into the game. Often times they don't even contextually make sense. If my running game is clicking and I'm ahead in the game I am not going to worry about throwing the ball to DT 3 times this drive. Stupid!

Yes and that is what is causing the issue. If you hit a string of drive goals your progression goes through the roof and your guys ratings go crazy. I actually had the display of that stuff turned off but now it is on so I can try not to hit them.

The fact that it is broken sucks, but I actually like the idea of it. In my 32-man M15 league, probably half the guys don't have a clue how to balance the momentum swings and stop their team from spiraling out of control. They throw 25 or 30+ picks per season. The drive goals very clearly say "run the ball 4 times", or "get 2 first downs", and it actually pulls them back down to Earth to try to just get some forward momentum once more.

I really like the idea, but having them broken is obviously a big pain. The "throw to DT three times" is likely the flip side of that, where you're going to miss weekly goals or something with DT, and it's trying to avoid that. In last year's game, if you missed those goals consistently, regression happened. So even though it seems odd, those drive goals are actually pretty intelligently recommended in my experience. But then again, I haven't been able to play a game since the morning Madden released. After hearing how borked it was, I am waiting to start a "real" CFM anyway.

He's just an 80 OVR, and replaces the 80 OVR Bo Jackson that has now reverted to 70, as Megatron will do soon. I did complete the Keeping Up With Johnsons objective with him today, though.

What? They revert to a lower score? Nice if they had a notification for that.

New tuner out supposed to tune down aggressive catch.

I'm skeptical. I like that higher rated Wrs should have a better chance of catching than lower rated Wrs.

I hope the patch doesn't kill the fun factor.

New tuning file feels good. Just beat a cheeser in MUT trying to use Vick to lob passes to Megatron all game. Johnson got his share of passes, but I also picked off a few. But the smart play is to hit A to play the man. One of my picks came when I did this, and using Y to go after the ball resulted in a few long catches.

I won 24-14, but it was never that close. I coasted through the first half, going up 10-0. Scored again in the third to go up 17-0, before he did pick up a couple of long TDs.

Basically, the tune seemed to add risk back into the equation. I hit a nice catch and run with Eric Decker for a Dereck Carr TD pass, and Reggie Bush and Kniles Davis each turned runs up the middle into 30+ yard TD runs. It was a fun game after getting rocked my last time out. That guy had a team built to destroy, and I didn't put up fight.

Loving the game still.

Yep.. the tuner did nerf the WR catches from my two game experience.

The patch is complete and was sent to Sony and MS for approval..

Just doing "play now" games with 15 minute quarters/13 second play clock and penalties all on 55 and I'll say this ONE MORE TIME.. this is THE greatest Madden game I've ever played.

Replayed the Chiefs vs Rams game and it was so much fun. Penalties total were like 12. I lost 24-10 and Maclin had two long touchdowns.

I love using the coach suggested plays too. I have yet to see anything that makes me scratch my head. Foles threw a pass off his back foot that sailed and was intercepted. This is THE year for Madden!

I saw you on earlier and almost sent an invite to play online. Of course, taking the Chiefs over the Rams this year isn't quite fair.

Yep, unfortunately their fix for the rookie speed problems is to bump everyone else up. Nice solution 8O

Auto subs weren't touched. Sparse Injuries weren't touched, broken sliders not touched. Disappointing.

My backs subbed much more often this morning than last night, so I'm assuming it has been touched a bit.

This game is frustrating as hell btw. Anticipation and reaction times by the defense is absolutely bonkers out of control. Makes for a lot of INTs that should not happen.
