I refuse to even piss on any ea game even if it was on fire.
f*** these c***.
Burn in hell assholes!
I'm very tempted to get FIFA 15 and NHL 15 and trade NHL 15 immediately at Best Buy for $40 credit. I'll still end up with FIFA 15 for $40 -- nice deal.

All those games will be part of the EA Vault so I can wait it out till next year. The only game I would be interested in is FIFA and I play last years version on EA access.
Saw this posted over at OS, so it's more heresy as I can't confirm:
Heads up for anyone thinking about a XB1 after the price drop. November 8th from 1pm - 4pm Best Buy is giving away a free 1 year Xbox Live subscription with a XB1 purchase.
I was going to go all digital on the One, but hard to pass up a better price just to go digital. It's the only game I'm going to have for the foreseeable future on the system.

NHL 14 going to target.
Good call.
[mike_emrick]And while you are at Target you might as well GEOMETRICALLY make your way to the Xbox 360 section, RETRIEVE a copy of NHL 15, WAFFLEBOARD your way back to the checkout counter, DRIIIVE back home while you KNIFE through traffic and then you can SCOOOORE with the Ice Dragons once again![/mike_emrick]
Best Buy has 2yrs Gamers Club Unlocked for free with the purchase and activation of any cell phone. The kicker is you can also get this deal with a cheap pre-paid phone. I grabbed a $15 AT&T Z222 and that qualified. So basically a 2yr GCU membership for $15. Use it once on a new game and it pretty much pays for itself.
eta - you don't need to activate the pre-paid phone for the deal to work.

The reason why physical media will not go away quickly. If MS and/or Sony want people to go 100% digital their marketplaces will need to match Amazon and the like pricing.

They'll also both need to get their act together. If anyone purchased the digital version of COD: AW and it was preloaded and installed, well tough sh*t. According to MS and Sony, you need to delete and re-download. If you're in my situation where the only DSL is sh*tty and not wantng to deal with the Devil (Comcast) a 36GB+ download takes around 3-4 days.
