Dude is on fuego, could have easily scored another one. What a pass by Cesc. Who says Spain needs a rebuild?XXXIV wrote:Good luck 10s.
Wtf is Diego Costa on? Holy awesome finish. Made a nice play that Hazard did not finish minutes before.

Didn't think the Germans were that much better but the luck of the Irish did come thru in ET for Euro 2016.
What a disgrace on the field between Serbia and Albania. Damn shame to the hooligans.

I may have to get me an Iceland jersey now. Wonder if Aron Johannsen is having second thoughts now?

Kun Aguero just destroyed Tottenham ( I'll be moving up this week XXXIV in our pool
)while Wengers' side salvages a point late in the game vs Hull.
If you picked some Southampton players, you'll surely do well this week.

I was watching the score go up thinking it must have been a scoreboard malfunction.
Re: The Beautiful Game thread, season 2014/15
Nah, you could tell some Sunderland players were quitting after the third goal.XXXIV wrote:I was watching the score go up thinking it must have been a scoreboard malfunction.
Geez, Cisse should take a lesson on execution from Aguero.

My better half and her parents are all die-hard Sunderland supporters. She hasn't said a word to me since I explained that the last time I ate nil was through food poisoning.
What a hit from Santiago Vergini, by the way. I haven't scored many better goals than this at the right end.
I did once accidentally lob my own goalie from 25 yards, mind, but we need not dwell on that.

Now that was something.
Sterling never runs out of energy. He got faster later in the game.
Is Baloteili ever going to score a Premier league goal?
Enrique is a turnover machine.
If only Liverpool could pass the ball to QPR defenders every week.

Re: The Beautiful Game thread, season 2014/15
Ballotelli should get an assist on the first own goal the way he switched off and turned his back on the play totally fooled the QPR defenders.

Re: The Beautiful Game thread, season 2014/15
Not sure if Liverpool will show up if at all in the second half, but the way Real is playing they might as well throw in the towel. Pick your flank, whether it's Ronaldo-Isco-Marcelo on the left or James-Modric-Arbeloa on the right, they can just walk off the second half. A late goal post by Coutinho is just too little for team that has been too passive on all RM goals.

huge score lines in the Champions League this week.

Liverpool - Suarez = s***.

I have a whole theory about how the center-halves are being unfairly targeted when the real defensive cancer is Mignolet and a complete lack of effective midfield cover combined with attack-first fullbacks...dougb wrote:Liverpool - Suarez = s***.

But yeah, you've pretty much nailed it there.

Re: The Beautiful Game thread, season 2014/15
Liverpool's 3 best players last year were Bitey, Sturridge and Sterling (in order of importance). We've been playing without 2 of them and the one remaining is just 20 years old. Throw in a keeper who treats the ball like it's a live grenade, a manager who feels he needs to shoe-horn in our legendary but now rapidly-becoming-useless captain and the piece of human garbage that is Glen Johnson and it is no wonder we are sh!t.
But hey, LOOK, LOOK BALOTELLI SWAPPED SHIRTS AT HALF TIME!! NOTICE THAT! DON'T NOTICE THE OTHER PROBLEMS!!!
I need a drink.
PS It is miracle that Liverpool are only 4 points off City for 2nd place.

Hee, don't tell me I did not warn you Liverpool fans about the risks of getting clueless Mario. Totally useless so far, what one lousy goal in ten games or so? If I was the coach I would NOT start this dude not even warm the bench for at least 3 games as punishment. And yeah, I did feel for Gerrard, boy he was gasping for air many times.Macca00 wrote:Liverpool's 3 best players last year were Bitey, Sturridge and Sterling (in order of importance). And after all that it was probably the best they have played since the southampton game on day one.

How about Lamela's Rabona today. A beauty.
Re: The Beautiful Game thread, season 2014/15
Balotelli.
How many chances does he need before he finishes one?
Why is Joe Allen ever playing? is his job to slow down the attack?
