My better half and her parents are all die-hard Sunderland supporters. She hasn't said a word to me since I explained that the last time I ate nil was through food poisoning.
What a hit from Santiago Vergini, by the way. I haven't scored many better goals than this at the right end.
I did once accidentally lob my own goalie from 25 yards, mind, but we need not dwell on that.

Not sure if Liverpool will show up if at all in the second half, but the way Real is playing they might as well throw in the towel. Pick your flank, whether it's Ronaldo-Isco-Marcelo on the left or James-Modric-Arbeloa on the right, they can just walk off the second half. A late goal post by Coutinho is just too little for team that has been too passive on all RM goals.
I have a whole theory about how the center-halves are being unfairly targeted when the real defensive cancer is Mignolet and a complete lack of effective midfield cover combined with attack-first fullbacks...
But yeah, you've pretty much nailed it there.

Liverpool's 3 best players last year were Bitey, Sturridge and Sterling (in order of importance). We've been playing without 2 of them and the one remaining is just 20 years old. Throw in a keeper who treats the ball like it's a live grenade, a manager who feels he needs to shoe-horn in our legendary but now rapidly-becoming-useless captain and the piece of human garbage that is Glen Johnson and it is no wonder we are sh!t.
But hey, LOOK, LOOK BALOTELLI SWAPPED SHIRTS AT HALF TIME!! NOTICE THAT! DON'T NOTICE THE OTHER PROBLEMS!!!
I need a drink.
PS It is miracle that Liverpool are only 4 points off City for 2nd place.

Hee, don't tell me I did not warn you Liverpool fans about the risks of getting clueless Mario. Totally useless so far, what one lousy goal in ten games or so? If I was the coach I would NOT start this dude not even warm the bench for at least 3 games as punishment. And yeah, I did feel for Gerrard, boy he was gasping for air many times.
