Yeah, I'm enjoying the XBO so far, but there was really not a compelling reason to jump into next gen, yet. At least between Forza, Ryse, Dead Rising 3, and Powerstar Golf, Microsoft has at least made sure there was plenty of good content to play. I like the multiplatform stuff, but most of that is available and would have been fine on last gen consoles.Inuyasha wrote:
The weird thing is my 24 hours with PS4 has sort of opened my eyes to XBONE's long term vision. PS4 will be a strong gaming system in the mold of past strong gaming systems, but maybe the future is an all inclusive system that almost does everything like XBO. I'm thinking XBONE in 2 years will be that. XBO really should have waited till next year to release.
I'm talking purely from a UI standpoint myself and of course this is personal preference.dbdynsty25 wrote:Outside of uptime, which arguably is the most important thing...what does xbox live offer that psn doesn't? After all the hoopla about the PS4 being the gaming centric console, how did Microsoft end up with so many more solid to great exclusive titles? And when will anyone actually notice that right now, the better gaming is on the Xbox, regardless of the Kinect and TV stuff.
But yeah, within two years, I think the XBO will be fully baked, with a UI that ready to embrace next gen. But it's a great gaming machine right now.
Yeah Steam went down a few hours ago. I haven't had a problem with Live and my kids have been on it all day with Disney Infinity. PSN I've gotten online once after trying about a dozen or more times. So seems like the holy grail is performing a hell of a lot better than the ghetto shittastic PSN.sportdan30 wrote:Looks like ALL systems are having issues.....yes, even the holy grail Xbox Live....woa!

For someone like me who's only been on XBL for the last 10 years and is now just introduced to PSN, that is the prefect description Sony's network thus far.Danimal wrote:sportdan30 wrote:the ghetto shittastic PSN.
Here is the thing, I said it before. If you came to my house today and said one console has to go I would hand you my XB1 without blinking an eye. However that doesn't blind me to the fact that the system has faults and its online component is one of them IMO. PSN being down on a day where a lot of people got new consoles and needed an update is a big difference them diminished services.Inuyasha wrote:For someone like me who's only been on XBL for the last 10 years and is now just introduced to PSN, that is the prefect description Sony's network thus far.Danimal wrote:sportdan30 wrote:the ghetto shittastic PSN.
I must be doing something wrong then, because I haven't had any PSN trouble and I've been on and off the PS4 all day. I'm on right now and so are a couple of other DSP guys.Inuyasha wrote:For someone like me who's only been on XBL for the last 10 years and is now just introduced to PSN, that is the prefect description Sony's network thus far.Danimal wrote:sportdan30 wrote:the ghetto shittastic PSN.

Yeah, it turned out that Xbox Live's limited outage was limited to FIFA 14. I have not noticed a outage all day, or yesterday.sportdan30 wrote:Looks like ALL systems are having issues.....yes, even XBL
