Edit: nevermind, I found the promotion and read how the process works. Thanks for the heads up.
Where do you see this? I chose to trade in my copy of Infinite and it is only saying $36 value. Granted, I haven't gone all the way through the process yet though. I have never used amazon trade-in before...do I have to provide my own mailer to put the game in? They just provide the shipping label that I print, correct?

Finished it last night. Absolutely loved it, brilliant story and setting, if it wasn't for the battles I would be tempted to replay it. One of the few games where I really look forward to the DLC. It took me a little longer to pass the 'Command Deck' section but what great ending.
Not many games leave you still thinking at the end of the title.
My games backlog is ridiculous and with a good chunk of my gaming time devoted to NHL club nights, but I put finally put together a couple of weeks to play through this one.
Not much to add to the discussion. I *loved* the ending for it's handling of plot lines not unlike those in fiction that I enjoy, like the aforementioned Fringe and Looper. The dawning comprehension on Elizabeth manifests in a real sadness which I think Irrational captured fantastically. Making you retrace the steps of giving away your daughter while Elizabeth looks on has a real sense of sadness and hopelessness. The voice acting was great on both Elizabeth and Booker in these scenes.
The nod to Rapture was a welcome sight as well.
The combat is what it is. They give you some neat toys to play with, but no real incentive to exercise them all. Switching was often to break monotony, and I often ended up completing large sections with the same pair of weapons, or using the same vigors. The skylines were neat, in the beginning, and the game is technically excellent and gorgeous, if lacking in variety.
The DLC intrigues me, but I know it would only be for the story and the "what if?" scenario it poses. In a way, I'm kind of concerned that they ruin the relatively perfect ending of the base game.

I bought the extra content a couple of days on sale, will give it a go this week. Look forward to it.
