One of my favorite skills game is the one where you have 2 players in midfield and you're trying to lob the ball over a virtual net. Sort of like playing tennis where you can only let it bounce once. As simple as it sounds, damn the game is a lotta fun yet difficult to master. So I picked Iniesta as my player and the CPU would love to make things harder by having someone like Puyol on the other side of the net.

He can return the ball back to you alright, but it feels more like a brick. Too bad you just can't pick the other player which should be someone of the same caliber of the player you picked.

Fun stuff. A game within the game I must say.

I'm learning a lot of moves I didnt even know I could pull off in the game because of the skill game mode. Very addictive and entertaining.

I started an online club. DSP Town.

I sent out a few invites, but anyone from my friends list can join. Shoot me a friend request or look up the club and ask for a transfer if you're interested in joining.

I'm headed out to see Prince again tonight, but I'll be on tomorrow for sure.

Have fun with the little Red Corvette. I thought Truth already created a club?

I already signed a pre-contract agreement with DSP Psychos on the advice of my agent. I am willing to switch but only if I'm given a signing bonus and guaranteed non-ANY status. ;)

Sorry. Didn't know. Let's stick with the Psychos then. I'll be around tonight, as I don't expect BAL-CLE to provide much entertainment.

Hey if you want to play send me a message when you see me online. I usually am in the club playing drop in games and while I see people get on, I haven't seen anyone in the club part of the game yet. Did Forensic and dogma get upset with us or something?

I guess they don't want to play with us. I sent Forensic a message on FB and he replied that he was waiting for the DSP players who only play for a few weeks and then bail to make their "exodus." I don't know exactly what the problem would be, but they play every night all year around and I guess they want only the hardest of the hardcore?

I've had a crazy busy week, but I'll be around.

Jimmy, take it easy. If you start acting like Tevez, you might end up with a kisser like his.

And i would have been playing with them every night if i didnt have to here the same moans and groans about the basic mechanics of the game.

Forensic didnt seem to like it when there was more than 3 players either , in fact i was never quite sure if he really enjoyed any of our company. Oh well i liked playing with them it was good fun , hopefully we could join them down the road but it does explain why they never accepted my request to join

Hogz i guess we could have done drop in games together but i figured 2 wasnt enough for a club game.
The drop in games are going down hill fast in this game , not much fun at all.

I really enjoy the online play in this game. It's not just because it's smooth, but a lot of the random opponents are pretty fair players. I like the fact all the online games are unranked. Maybe this weeds out all the cheesers like in other games where online play is unplayable.

So much fun last night, guys! Nothing beats this game for flat-out fun when you have a nice group like that.

I have no idea why it didn't record one of our two wins. Looked around online and didn't see anything that listed it as a known issue. :(

Sooooo much fun. After I left I realized that the setup of my guy hadn't stuck for some reason so I was not the guy I thought I was. I'd been way out of position. But who cares! It didn't seem to matter much. I never touch the ball in the central midfield anyways. :P

I seem to wonder this every year, but in this and NHL I wonder if the changes to the mechanics are helping us or if it's just that it's early and the kiddies haven't figured out all their nefarious tricks. Probably the latter but one can hope.

Unfortunately as to ultimate team, my bonus packs contained no big ticket money makers. Unlike madden and NHL you can sell the bonus pack cards, but the best I got was a Rosicky. He won't bring me anything. So I guess I'll be back to the long arduous struggle to earn barely enough credits to get contract cards. Ugh. I guess they want to further encourage real money spending. Blech.

They did add a new security question to help avoid the awful account hacking that was a big problem last year. People who had a credit card attached to their XBL account were getting huge charges on that card as their accounts we're hacked apparently in Asia and folks were maxing out the cards to buy packs and sell the big players. Evil stuff. I hope this new security will eliminate that chance but I already took my credit card off my XBL account.

sorry I missed the last game...my system locked up again so I just called it quits. Looks like you guys won it so maybe it was a good thing.

We had so many chances to score though, I think once you get your guys leveled up some we will be able to finish at a higher clip.

Look forward to some more play.

I think its more to do with coming to grips with the first touch mechanic, seems i cant control a ball if im running on to it or at it, something that is pretty easy to do in real life is made harder in this game, like eerr... a 1 time pass, the reason you 1st time the pass is so you dont need to take that touch its a basic that is actually easier than trying to control the ball.

Now that I've played the game for a few days I can say your impressions are spot-on. I can understand the critics who are upset that this game is not a big leap from the first. For me, I don't feel like I wasted $30 on it. The gameplay is a bit more refined and the updated rosters and kits are nice to have. Just as in the last game I still love the touch control options. Despite not being a huge leap in soccer gaming, I love being able to have such a good quality soccer game on a handheld.

I've been out of the loop a bit as I was on travels the last few days but when I fired up the game briefly, I was the only guy in the club for the Psychos. Do we have a new club now or am I just missing something?
