If it it ends up sending Tarasenko back to Russia, I'm gonna be a real sad panda.MizzouRah wrote:How depressing..pk500 wrote: Especially since it looks like we won't see real NHL hockey until around Christmas, at the earliest.
Definitely...Aristo wrote:

Tarasenko has an NHL contract so whenever the NHL starts up, he will have to come back from Russia.Aristo wrote:If it it ends up sending Tarasenko back to Russia, I'm gonna be a real sad panda.MizzouRah wrote:How depressing..pk500 wrote: Especially since it looks like we won't see real NHL hockey until around Christmas, at the earliest.
I get that. But I still have this sick feeling that it could all fall apart. I might just be paranoid.tjung0831 wrote:Tarasenko has an NHL contract so whenever the NHL starts up, he will have to come back from Russia.Aristo wrote:

It seems like it's now very much like how UT works in FIFA, where you have lots of tournaments based on different team parameters. For example, in FIFA there are permanent tournaments for bronze and silver teams where all players must be no better than that card level. But then they will also throw in occasional temporary tournaments with different types of limits, such as total team OVR must be below a certain number (so you could mix in a few really good players with some really scrubby players, or have everyone sort of middling instead), or all players must play in a certain league, or all players must be from a sinngle country of your choice, that kind of thing.Naples39 wrote:Wow, no career length and salary cap is a major change. Before, there was a basically a limit on team quality unless you wanted to spend a ton of time/money getting high priced and upgradeable young players, putting them on a long contract, and then upgrading them while locked into a low salary cap hit. I never bothered and accepted my team would be much worse than these guys. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Also, the mobile HUT app is amusing.
I gave it a try last year and liked it but this year looks a lot better. I'll definitely have a squad!10spro wrote:I never played HUT mode before and I may just give it a try this time around.
Looks like you can play your friends using your HUT team and your contracts, etc. won't be affected.10spro wrote:I never played HUT mode before and I may just give it a try this time around.
That was the case last year, too.Diablo25 wrote:Looks like you can play your friends using your HUT team and your contracts, etc. won't be affected.
