I'll pop a cap into your ass to say "Glad to be back, f*cker." :)

Hey Zepp, I'm honestly shocked to be playing online with YOU again, so...it's certainly possible...

Very good times. I suck like a Hoover, but damn, I love this game!

Thanks for all of the tips, boys. Lord knows, I need many.

Played about two hours of MW3 tonight and after every game I kept wanting to play some BF3...so I guess I'm going to have to join in on the console BF3 fun...cuz it's definitely better to play with dudes you know and I don't know anyone else playing on the PC regularly...so I guess I gotta scrap the PC and go console w/ you guys. Hopefully I can grab a copy for 28 bucks at Fry's tomorrow.

The key to our success is to play on shitty teams. Fifa, Diablo, PK and I were top squad last night thanks to the rest of our team playing like the Grenada army.

I got a kill last night that would have made Rob cream his jeans. Snuck up on a tank as an engineer on the Caspian Border. The tank was in the river but stuck against a rock as it was trying to get up to the Hilltop flag. I switched to my launcher, only to realize I had a Stinger equipped. So I switched to mines, got right behind him, dropped two in the water, and sprinted away. Sure enough, he backed up to get around the rock and blew up: vehicle kill and a double kill. Most satisfying kill I have had in this game.

I single-handedly drag the collective skill of the DSP crew from average to mediocre. :)

You can also whip out the repair tool in that situation (assuming you have it in your loadout). I was doing that the other day, draining an opponent's tank's health from behind, when all of a sudden I started repairing the tank instead of damaging it. Turns out the opponent driver bailed and ran away, so I finished repairing it and got a 100% health tank for my own use!

A tip of my engineer's cap for that, my friend. I've killed myself a few times doing that, but my hatred for vehicles is such that I see it as a fair trade.

You guys play this often? I still have a copy that I only took online for a single game, but I'd love to check out what it's like with people you know.

I'm wayyyyyyy inexperienced, though. So probably not very useful early on, at least.

This is what PK was referring to in regards to dragging down the collective skill level ;)

I'm not wired to accumulate points; I'm wired to kill.

But I suck at killing, so I need to change my mindset. Right now, I'm the PFC Gomer Pyle of the DSP Battlefield clan. :)

We actually played pretty well last night, especially during our final game on Kharg Island. But that one guy in the Viper on the other team was just a killing machine. If someone knows what they are doing in an attack chopper they are probably the most dangerous player on the map.

The most frustrating was Tehran Conquest against the tank that was parked on the bluff overlooking A. That was a great spot for lobbing shells across the map and very hard to reach him. I almost had him by climbing up the cliffs beneath his spot, but ran into the out-of-bounds before I could get a really clear shot.

PK - that's the great thing about this game. We can still accumulate a ton of points without firing a single round. Neutralizing a base and the capturing it will give you a quick 450. On Kharg last night we basically kept going back and forth between B & C.. We'd take it, they'd take it and then we'd take it back. Adds up quickly.

We did play pretty well last night. When we are focused on the objective we are much more effective. It's when we get sidetracked that we get thrown off and suddenly wonder how we lost all the control points.
