We acquitted ourselves pretty well on those last couple maps. It makes it so much easier when we have a full squad. I'm still chuckling to myself over Brando nose-diving that fighter into the ground right in front of me mere moments after uttering the famous last words, "I'm getting into the jet." :)

LMAO! That was highlight reel stuff. Brando also had it out for that guy in the tank.. there was a real "i'm pissed off" tone to his voice!

Yes. We played well last night. . It was very cool last when one of you guys said "let's go get D" .. I take off on a dead sprint, hop a small wall and see all you guys heading there as well. When u have a squad working like that we should win most capture point battles.

Looking forward to more!!!!!!!!!!!

Could you imagine if we could get another full squad?.. or two?? How many DSP folks actually play this on a regular basis? I think we've got plenty. With multiple squads one could argue we should be able to increase our win percentage :)

The usuals of Rob, Teal, Diablo, Brando and Myself... who else?

Wound up having a blast by the end of the night, but man, someone at EA should be drawn and quartered for having this much time, and these many BF's under their belt, and still not be able to get the squad stuff right. It's idiotic to put a squad together, and wind up on different teams. That being said, I love damn near everything else about this game. And I'll say it again: I know there's not alot to compare between CoD and BF3, but there IS some, and that some is the difference between playing a video game and having real fun. CoD just feels lightweight and bush league compared to BF. It's the difference between the kiddie table and the main banquet table at the family thanksgiving meal-yeah, you might have alot of the same food on the table, but it's just not the same. The meat is at the adult table. :D

Another great quote from last night:

Rob "you're Kung-Fu doesn't work on this map!"

That had me chuckling for a while.

Yeah, Rob doesn't like the maps that don't respond to his Kung-Fu...lol. To be fair, it's damn hard to blow up tanks on that Caspian-Skyrim map...

Ive probably blown up more tanks on caspian than any map. The bottle neck at A as well as the bridge, hill top and the routes into the gas station.

Actually, I was referring to that Wack dude who smoked us the first couple games. His Kung Fu didn't work on the latter maps. :)

Bummer I missed out last night. I still can't believe that they have so many Squad join issues. Truly unacceptable.

Were you guys playing on Hardcore at least?

I had an incredible battle on HC mode Rush yesterday. Super intense.

I bellyached about playing hardcore and we switched back to regular.

My main beef is that it totally fucks up much of the balance of the gameplay. Yes, it's fun having to spot muzzle flashes and having easier kills, but I'm not a fan of giving up team spotting as a consequence. Friendly fire is more realistic, but it's simply not a lot of fun to rack up TKs because you're driving over friendly mines or tripping friendly claymores. I had about a half dozen TK's on one map because people kept running up the stairs where I'd secured myself with claymores. I also got TK'ed about 3x by overzealous vehicle gunners.

As I said last night, I appreciate that it's somewhat more realistic, but the underlying game isn't realistic and isn't really supposed to be. I'm happy to join you guys for HC now and then, but I enjoy standard play more for sure. I think it would be great in a small room, for squad rush or something like that. Then we could chat and let each other know where mines are and where we are to avoid problems with the vehicles.

I've never been a fan of HC in BF. For me the game is all about mayhem, not worrying about where Rob has been spamming mines. I also think team spotting is fundamental to the BF experience.

I was so glad I smoked that f***er in his precious T-90. I was very full of fantasy football rage and that was a cathartic way to channel it.

Incredibly fun last night, especially the final game. I went to bed with visions of nailing one of those recon pussies camping on the roof across from the Office flag with a long-range tank shot. And also laughing at someone (FIFA, I think) mentioning that he always got stabbed by someone when using the Stinger, and then I got stabbed shortly afterward while using the Stinger.

I have to play my Madden franchise game tonight but might be around after that.

A vivd memory I will have from last night was when I spawned on Teal who was in a chopper. When I entered the game I was in a free fall because Teal, and the chopper, were 'tango down'. I had about 1.5 seconds until I faceplanted somewhere where the buzzards are still picking at my carcass! Super fun!
