But seriously, I'm a huge fan of LaRussa. He is a hall of fame manager that we are lucky to have running the ship for us. No one can doubt he is a large part of all of our postseason success over the years. Also, if not for him, no Dave Duncan either. Look at the magic he does with the castoffs throughout the years like Suppan, Lohse, Rhodes, on and on.
All the LaRussa haters need to come to the table with a better choice. I shudder to think what could happen when he retires. It might be 1990 all over again
