Well that kids coin collection auction is about to end Wed so I couldn't wait for MoFell's to refund my paypal account so I called paypal.

turns out mofells' is all wrong. Paypal told me the transfer needs to canceled thru them for the money to go back into my paypal balance. So the guy over at paypal did some special cancellation and I'll have to wait only 24 - 48 hrs to get the money back into my account, not a freaking week like Mofells told me.

So if you ordered via paypal, I advise calling paypal. Like DB said, mofells has all the control in this and if they never get to voiding the transaction on their end, you'll never see the money.

Good info Lancer. I rechecked my PayPal account today and it still shows pending as my order was on hold when S.H.T.F. so my order never went thru. I checked my account and I wasn't charged that amount, will check tomorrow. If I do get charged i'll call their customer service and PayPal and get the money reversed. Like I said so far it doesn't look like that will be necessary. Keeping fingers and toes crossed.

I just called Modells CS dept and they let me replace the order for $35.63. I didn't do anything but ask
why my prev order was cancelled and she offered to replace my order for just 2 dollars more, so I said OK.

I just called and they gave me the 40% off and free shipping. So I kept the $32.99 total.

Woohoo..I guess Modells has a warehouse a few hours from me. Mine is out for delivery.

Thanks for the heads up on calling paypal. My original order is still showing as pending.

what is the method of shipment (from Modells)? US Post office, UPS, or Fed Ex ?

My copy of MLB 2K11 came via UPS. I don't have a tracking number for MLB 11 The Show but I expect that to show up via UPS. Also don't forget that Modell's probably had to place a large order with Sony to fill the huge backlog of orders. IOW I don't think you or I will be seeing The Show in the next week.

Whenever MLB the Show comes out, I get a strong urge to buy PS3. Are there any killer deals on PS3 right now? I know it's going to be only for one game, but I've always liked THE SHOW since back on the PS2 days. Even the PS2 versions used that system to it's max and were some great looking and playing games.

So any steals for PS3 with rumors of PS4 being announced? Rodster, can you work your deal magic for me once again?

Yeah Kmart had a PS3 160GB with MLB 11 The Show or Killzone 3 for $299 but that deal expired last week.

Update: I still haven't been charged for The Show and since Modell's only charges when the item ships, it hasn't shipped yet. I can wait for 3-4 weeks, bummer for those that are looking forward to playing this.

Oh, EA has a Flash deal 1PM (60% off) on all of it's yearly sports titles. I'm going to pick up NHL 11 (360) if I can snag a copy before everyone else does.

Deal is dead Lancer. Those EA Flash deals are typically good for 5 minutes MAX. I picked up NHL 11 for the 360 for $25.66, can't beat that price. I made a couple of bucks on my trade of NHL 11 (PS3) to Amazon, hated the controls. Also got that for $25.66
