I got the cancellation notice also a couple of hours ago. Haven't gotten the money put back into my paypal account yet though, still has the status as pending.
Pending means nothing Vader regarding your PP account. If it says complete or in progress that means funds have been taken from your account and transferred to other party. Check the details link of your PP account.
My purchase for MLB 11 The Show still shows pending but MLB 2K11 shows in progress. When I click on the details link for 2k11 it shows that money was transferred from my account to theirs but wrt the MLB 11 purchase it still shows pending.
All pending means is a hold was placed on your account but no money was taken. Retailers commonly do this. But if you are low on bank funds that might present a problem.
I paid thru paypal too and I have the same status. I called Mofo's customer service and the guy told me I should see the money back in my paypal account by NEXT FRIDAY!

What status do you get for the order "pending/in progress/complete?
My 2K11 order shows in progress but that game was shipped via UPS with a tracking number so they are due that money.

I have a couple of bucks left in my paypal account and don't need it right away but that is BS with them holding your money for a week on an order that they cancelled.
I have the show through some Gamestop credit. I'm pretty satisfied with that, but I couldn't pass up the 2k11 deal so I ordered with this code as well and looked forward to getting the game between the 16th adn 21st. That was until I got the email saying they cancelled my order.
My 2k11 order got cancelled yesterday too. I have not received an email stating it is back in stock. May have to call their CS Dept. Gamer- did your email have a new 40% off code?

yes. From what i know, they are 'unique' codes. Which only work for 1 purchase (and 2 item max).
other people who had originally ordered (like you) and had not recevied the email/code, did phone customer service at Modells, and they were given the promotion.

This is the one they gave me, but the link already had the reduction. When I put the code in, it was saying I couldn't use it. But you could try it. MODVgUJmfVd0Exu
I just called Modells CS dept and they let me replace the order for $35.63. I didn't do anything but ask
why my prev order was cancelled and she offered to replace my order for just 2 dollars more, so I said OK.

I just called and they gave me the 40% off and free shipping. So I kept the $32.99 total.

Thanks for the udpate guys. I called MoFells' and they gave me the same price and I ordered thru CC. So it's a new order # and shipping should come between March 18-24.
For the old paypal order they cancelled, they said it should still be refunded by this Friday since it is now a separate order.
I hope they know to send me 2k11 for XB and not The show for ps3. When she picked up the phone and I asked why my order was canceled w/o even mentioning the game, she said 'OH THE BASEBALL GAME!'. So it sounds like they're getting a lot of calls.
