You can now download several of the old C&C games for free. They are now considered freeware.
There's:
1) The original C&C
2) Red Alert
3) C&C Tiberian Sun plus the Firestorm Expansion.
Did I mention it's free?
Too bad only Tiberian Sun can be played on anything above XP. I was hoping to play some of the original C&C multiplayer with my friend just like back in junior high.

Damn you! I was all set to finally give up my two decade long annual Madden football purchase, and then I saw this deal. GRRRR
Printed the coupon, headed to Gamestop tomorrow for the $20 upgrade.

What's even funnier was the fact that the assistant manager had no idea this promo even existed. Good thing I printed the coupon and took it with me.
Same here. They looked at me today like I was nuts. The coupon code wouldn't scan, and he couldn't even manually enter it... but I left with a $40 pre-order credit towards Madden 11, so it worked well enough.

FWIW, I was at my local FYE this afternoon and they had a sticker saying IL-2 Sturmovik for 360 on sale for $10. I tried to pick up a copy, but the highly disinterested store clerk emerged from their games closet and said they didn't have it. No idea if it's a national offer or what.

Yeah I had to tell the assistant manager that I got it off of their website. He still had no clue. I think he scanned mine and it worked cause my ticket says Madden $40 promo.

Got it off amazon last week for $18. It's been a fun play.
Even though I've been playing the 360 version, EA store had $10 off up until last night on the PC's version of Battlefield BC2. With the code "PAXEAST842" there was another $20 bucks off the game which made it for a total of $19.95, so I grabbed the PC version as well.
Now apparently the same code applies to any other games on any console, so I pre-purchased Fifa World Cup 2010 for the 360 and it gives you the $20 off.
Guys, I got an e-mail from Gamestop that says that the PC digital download version of MLB 2K10 will be $2.99 on Monday only, for opening day. Certainly worth checking out for that price! I already got a copy through steam, but may grab one for my wifes laptop also.

I'll get myself a copy for that price. Can you tell me how Gamestop's DRM works for downloadable games i.e. can I install it on the same computer without activation if I reformat my hard drive? Can I install it on another computer if I decide my laptop can't run it? I only have the 360 version but for $3 bucks, damn that's a sweet price.
