And probably thinking more of CET than GMT.

It's tough enough for teams based on the East Coast. Impossible for West Coast teams.
wco: i would think, the NFL would take this into consideration, and not schedule games with any west coast/mountain teams. For regular season games, this seems very possible to me.

regardless, am not campaiging for london. NFL Europe did not work, what makes this different? American football is american football.

And you can have it.
All to yourselves commercials and overhyped pregame shows and all.

my father (a lifelong NFL fan) basically agrees. As the frequency of commercials are unacceptable

Prince...What in the hell????? It sounds like a funeral song.
I'm a rabid, ridiculous and completely over-the-top Prince fan.

That song is just freaking awful! :(

game over.

thanks for a great season, Sanchez & co. Being one of the top 4 teams in the NFL with a rookie QB is something to be proud of.

10 points down with just under 9 to play. I'm smelling a rookie mistake.

I'm glad to see the Colts in the Super Bowl. It will be refreshing to actually get to root for them in the Super Bowl since they won't be playing the Bears. Jets had a good season and have a lot of pieces in place for a long run. I'm still not completely sold on Sanchez but he did play well at times today. He got away with a few stupid throws but he made some plays to give them a big lead in the first half. He's got potential and if they can continue to run the ball so well and play good defense he won't need to be great.

Now for all that is good and holy let the Saints win next.

Manning is just flat out cool under pressure. That's the difference between one of best QB's ever to play the game and a rookie. I was quite impressed with Sanchez, but there was no way you're going to beat the Colts and Manning.

Looking forward to the NFC title game. Go Saints!

to me the most important factor leading into the game was Rex Ryan's career record vs Payton Manning (it was like 1-7)

that said, if anyone had told me Sanchez would play this well (the INT at the end is meaningless) i would had believed the Jets would have won today. Was more impressed with his performance today, then the other 2 games combined. Had wanted the Jets to select Matt Ryan the year before. However, in the end i don't know if the Jets will have lost much having Sanchez over Ryan. Sanchez will be a fine NFL QB (if he remains healthy) He does remind me of Steve Young.

any chance the Jets had to win this game, was removed when Shonn Greene left the game. Despite his 1400yd season, Thomas Jones is not capable of controlling a football game. It not a conincidence, the resurgence by the Jets at end of the year and into the post season was in parellel with Shonn Greene being the #1 RB.

props to the Colts. They played the better game today. And are the better team.

I was pretty impressed with Sanchez today as well. Too bad our lil lambs passed on Sanchez. I guess its....Bulger forever!

The Jest played their asses off but in the end quality won out. Manning is Manning and the Colts were just too much.

Vikings Saints tied up 14-14 in what looks to be setting up an intense second finish. The exchange of unforced fumbles before half was comical...Very Playoff Chargeresque by both teams.

Other than who wins Im interested to see if Favre will survive the game. Saints giving the old dude a real beating so far.

EDIT: That didnt take long...Big return sets up the Saint 21-14 lead. My advice to Brett from the title of a Sergio leone movie..."Duck, You Sucker!"

i like Warren Sapp. However, in the preview for this year's playoffs he said the Jets were not a dangerous team.

the Jets proved him wrong. This is the type of year/season a team can build upon

I would love to see the Aint's finally win the big one. It would mean a lot for N.O.

And to think Nick Satan took C. Pepp over Brees.

28-28 at the two minute warning...Now this is what Im talking about!...Remember Brett...Duck, You sucker!

One day I hope to seee the Rams in a game like this...or...even see them make it up to 6-10, 7-9.

EDIT: With the too many men in the huddle penalty and the Favre pass of doom the Vikings have very graciously given us overtime...

Oh Favre. He could have run the ball, but maybe he was too limpy to do so. Exciting stuff.
