Nah...they had the hardest first half of the season schedule wise. They did alright to come back to 4-5...as the schedule eases up a bit in the 2nd half. They had a shot at the Wild Card.Brando70 wrote:Their season was over when they started 0-3.dbdynsty25 wrote:I hope you're right...but when you lose your best weapon on offense (one of two), you're in trouble.

True, but I also read that only three teams have started 0-3 and made the playoffs since the NFL expanded playoffs to 12 teams. Just really difficult to start that deep in the hole, especially in the AFC.dbdynsty25 wrote:Nah...they had the hardest first half of the season schedule wise. It is too bad about Ronnie Brown -- he's a terrific back and very fun to watch.

Got this from my wife
BREAKING NEWS: Terror Alert in Chicago, IL
The Chicago Bears football practice was delayed nearly two hours today
after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field.
Head coach Lovie Smith immediately suspended practice and called the police and federal investigators.
After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white
substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE.
Practice resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to
encounter the substance again this season.

Rams knock Warner out the game down 21-3. Then proceed to get the score to 21-13. Driving inside the Cardinals 20 with 4 minutes to go and then...and then?...A 15 yd roughing penalty on Adam Goldberg. Adam Goldberg an offensive lineman. What did he do? What was the call for? Nobody knows as the NFL? or Fox or somebody decided it wasnt replay worthy...Why not? Why shouldnt we get to see why the Cards are HANDED a victory?...Especially since a blatant holding/PI call is ignored 3 plays later...
NFL refs....Nice.
Cya next week...
EDIT: Cause I cant help myself
. Marc Bulger in the last minute. I have never seen a bigger c*** than you. What a f***in p***y!

I miss Warner.. the Cardinals were s*** without him at the helm. We had our chances.. 0-3 on 4th downs, ouch!XXXIV wrote:Rams knock Warner out the game down 21-3. My dad and I laughed as Bulger limped off the field.. I know he was probably hurting, but I really can't stand him. We NEED A QB BAD!!!
Ya...The Cards look pretty weak with Matt in there. Was funny when they had to put Warner back in vs the Bears....MizzouRah wrote: I miss Warner.. the Cardinals were s*** without him at the helm.
Im sorta embarressed, that when he was getting run out of town by schMartzy and the braindead fans, that I didnt back his old washed up ass.

EDIT: Going to the sunday night game. Cutler needs to get his head his out of his ass.
EDIT2: 10-9 half. J doesnt look that bad in the 2nd qtr. No INTs yet either. Maybe he has turned the turnover corner. Good luck to him and the Bears.

Cutler is horribly overrated. The guy barely has a winning record as a starter and for some reason everyone thinks he's the savior. Especially with those receivers in Chicago. Could be the only receiving core equal to Miami's jv team.miget33 wrote:Jay has been looking tentative all game, he looks weary of throwing a pick.

Leaving the Rams still searching for that first home win.10spro wrote:Seahawks win their first road game of the year, albeit against the Rams.
It really does add to the depression of the losing. They are not only losing every week but they are doing much of this losing in a terrible division against garbage teams.
I am not a genius but getting blown out by bad teams cannot be a good thing

Perry Fewell, defensive coordinator turned offensive genius!
Seriously, if TO continues to play like he has the last two games, does Buffalo try to keep him for another year or two? Or will his market value be driven past his actual worth, especially for a penny-pinching owner like Ralph Wilson?
The resurrection of Vince Young has been very fun to watch. Looks like his vintage Texas years. What a drive to finish the game against Arizona yesterday.
Take care,
PK

Man, the Patriots' defense looked brutal tonight. And the Saints' defense can pursue and hit with the NFL's best.
Oh, and that Brees kid looked halfway decent.
Take care,

It is nice to see the Saints finally playing at a high level in the NFL. Back when I was on the 1981 team, the fans showed up with bags on their heads calling themselves the "Aints"....can't say I blame them as I believe we were 0 -fer for the season at this point....took 28 years for a complete reversal in fortunes, but it has been worth the wait and I am excited for the city of New Orleans.pk500 wrote:Man, the Patriots' defense looked brutal tonight.
