One play here or there and it's a different season. Last year we got the breaks...this year, not so much. The team will be fine and we'll be competitive. They will not get blown out tonight. Phins are at home too...against another rookie QB who looked horrendous last week. Keep your head up. Dolphins by 4.
I just read a tweet by Adam Schefter that said the Browns and Dolphins discussed a Braylon Edwards/Ronnie Brown trade last April. Thank GOD that didn't happen. Tho, Braylon would be a nice fit with his old QB Henne.

I've been plagued by XXXIV-itis.
Yeah, but to be fair to XXXIV, have you seen the Rams play? I suppose in a manner of speaking nobody has.
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.
My time is water down a drain.

I've seen them play, and in person. They almost beat us at home. They're not good. Sort of like good ol' Zorba in the EASHL. But that running back is pretty damn good, that's for sure.

A picture can say it all. Adrian Peterson's roadkill, lying there in the endzone, is clearly wearing a Rams throwback uniform. Pretenders are just fooling themselves. 34 points in 5 games. We are #32 baby!
He's 30, but I think its all the extra snacks from the old late night runs back in the day. (yes that's a weed crack)
Dolphins are wasting too much time giving the ball to Brown. Give the damn ball to Ricky!! I've got 8 pts from Ricky so far, I need TDs. I came into tonight down 30.

And I've got Brown, trailing by 15 right now, so I've got a shot since he's got 13 points already.
No matter the result of this game...I'm very happy with Henne. I haven't seen a Miami QB throw the ball over 40 yards since Marino. That throw to Ginn was a thing of beauty. Not quite up to Braylon's catch, but still. Pennington underthrows that ball by ten yards.
I don't think it's about credibility with some of these analysts.
It's more about notoriety or infamy in the case of someone like Millen and Martz, who's on NFL Network.
These are guys who are between NFL jobs or in some cases, not likely to get an NFL job any time soon again.
May also be about the flavor of the month too. Analysts who've been around longer, like Sterling Sharpe, gets pushed more into the background and newer ones, often recently retired players, get more of the spotlight.
When someone like Favre finally retires and he wants to do some TV, no doubt he'd get a high-profile gig and someone now occupying that spot will get pushed to some secondary show.
You guys forget that Millen actually was a highly touted color guy before he took the Lions job without having the experience he really needed. Sure, he failed as a GM, but that really doesn't mean he doesn't have good commentary after watching a game.

Absolutely agree with that. Back in the late 90's he was at times compared to the next John Madden without the BOOM schtick. I have no problems listening to what he has to say either.
Oh and how bout them Dolphins, never doubted them for a second.
