I thought Yosi was MotM even before scoring. He and Robben were the only two players on the pitch who were consistently pushing the game forward.Macca00 wrote:Yossiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
Hope Torres isn't too badly injured.
Incidentally, I saw that SAF didn't start Tevez or Rooney yesterday. Good thing he wasn't destroying football by rotating his squad.

Rafa is the only manager in world football that rotates his squad. Incidentally, Zonal Marking does NOT work.RobVarak wrote: Incidentally, I saw that SAF didn't start Tevez or Rooney yesterday. Good thing he wasn't destroying football by rotating his squad.

Miss you bro, I got to get another 360 and get back on Live!
Was playing in MLS so bad that Youri Djorkaeff had to retire from soccer and resort to this?

Yowzer. At least he waited until he was finished playing, unlike Gazza:

Or Hoddle and Waddle, only one of whom is capable of remembering to keep miming all the way through:

Embedded especially for Naples, who shall no longer have to chase around tidying my links into something useful.

Parry is actually very knowledgeable about football, and a pretty decent bloke to boot. Given Benitez's track record with transfers, and his seeming reluctance to use their academy players, I'm not sure that I'd be handing him all the cards either.RobVarak wrote:Rafa declares victory?

Well virtually every open season has seen Parry and Rafa at loggerheads over a major piece of business, which means that the relationship wasn't strong to begin with and that it's difficult to judge who had final say on many of the signings or failures to sign. As for his reluctance to play academy players, I think that's due at least in part to the lack of quality coming through.davet010 wrote:Parry is actually very knowledgeable about football, and a pretty decent bloke to boot. Yes, Rafa - learn the golden rule....when you get rid of the fall guy, you better not be taking any more falls.

If you want fun (and some great goals) have a look for the highlights of yesterday's Athletico Madrid vs Barcelona game.
You won't be disappointed.
