Whenever I think of Jim Nantz I think of Golf, soupy music in the background and some touching story I don't care about or can't relate to. He's like the Oprah Winfrey of sportscasters. :lol:

Well said. Jim Nantz is the Muzak of sportscasters. Adds absolutely nothing to a telecast except for soothing background music.

I used to like Keith Jackson when he was with Frank Broyles back in the day. Was a pretty entertaining combo.

Al Micheals is pretty good for a pompous ass. He does pull it off in a strange way. I think its the way, that when it really matters, he lets the event be the event.
How do you know Joe Buck is "that asshole" and Al Michaels is a "pompous ass"? Did you get the pleasure of meeting them in person? :o

Great point...They might both be regular guys off of the air ..but all I have to go on is how I hear them on TV...and joe buck does play the asshole on the tele.
