Picked up the 360 version. Got my $10 GC and used that towards the purchase of the official Strategy guide. The guide cost me $2.04 after using the 25% off coupon from the free mini guide and using my $10 GC.

I'm actually leaning on the 360 ATM. I'm not sure if my PC will be able to run this game? Too bad CC doesn't have the same deal for the PS3.
CC gives free strat guide with purchase of this?

CC gives you a mini strategy guide which has a coupon for the real one and then you also get a $10 gift card.

Nice touch having the little introductory note from the developers in the instruction book.

I picked it up, hoping it doesnt interfere with my fifa time, but I have a strong feeling Bayern Munich may be on the back burner for a bit.

My copy is waiting for me on my doorstep. The Phils game is already postponed so I'll have to time to play it tonight. Sounds like a keeper.

Well I started playing and promptly managed to get my character stuck behind a table that I can't get out from. Awesome. I'm about 20mins in so this is going to be a total b*tch if I have to restart the game.

Save often, game is much more deadly then Oblivion.

Once out of the vault the game really picks up, so much to do and the enemies will kick your arse if you're not ready for them.

Picked up the PC version...even though Best Buy was price matching at 51.99 for the 360. Allegedly the PC version looks a bit better...plus I like how games control on the PC a bit better...especially if there is any shooting involved. We'll see I suppose. Hopefully my rig can handle it...a la Far Cry 2.

Yeah I found that out real quick when I died a horrible death by something that was a cross between a dog and a huge armidillo.

Has anyone made it out of the vault without killing the overseer?

I didn't kill him, I just killed the guard and took the weapons before he could pick something up and he cowered in the corner.

The PC version is the better looking of the three although the 360 version looks sweet. The PS3 version based on Gamespot's review looks really bad at times.

I'll start over and give that a try. I killed a guard and stole his clothes and baton but I was still detected. So I got pissed and beat up everyone I found including the overseer and his daughter.

I didn't even see the overseer. Took me quite awhile, in fact, to figure out how to equip weapons, and I found out(once I exited the damned vault) that I had accidentally given my pistol to a corpse while searching his body. Dammit.

This one's going to take me some time to wrap my head around. The city is incredible in it's destructive beauty. I had no idea that a radio tower would give me radiation poisoning, though...stood there for awhile trying to figure out why I would be able to pick a lock to get to the tower, only to have it poison me. Then it started getting dark and I got spotted by someone who fired a shot at me, so I ducked into a cabin and found a woman in there who spoke to me. Stole a knife, and went back out.

That's my experience so far. I'm confused, to be honest. Not sure what in the hell to do. I've never played Oblivion or anything like that. So what am I supposed to be expecting here? I think I'll like it alot, just don't know what I'm doing yet.

Is it a problem that i beat him to death? I heard the daughter yell "Oh my god, daddy!" but never actually saw her before exiting the vault.

I'm with Teal about feeling a little overwhelmed right now but i also had JUST entered the first village so i'm assuming it will become less confusing as i move ahead tonight.

To be honest this game wasn't even going to be a purchase for me but i'm glad i did. I think i'm really going to enjoy this one.

Also, for those who didn't buy the guide, like me, this should help. Some of you probably have found it but just in case. I'm not going to use it much right now but if i get stuck or can't figure something out i'll probably turn to it. The Side Quest piece is not ready yet....as you can tell.

Game is amazing...Size,scope, play and fantastic graphics...Oblivion with guns and with purpose.

Need to switch back to Fable2(10 hours my ass...Im into the late 20s) and finish before I get totally sucked into Fallout and its too late.

I'm regretting getting the PC version only because I've had various lock ups.

For those overwhelmed it's going to be that way for a while. My advice when you get a quest stick to it. In the first town if you do the quest to diffues the bomb you'll get a house in that town.

So far I took on a s*** load of raiders in a super market and now I am following up on another quest with fire ants that actually spew fire, these things are a b*tch to kill.

they took my biggest complaint about Oblivion which were the leveled enemies and threw that out apparently so it's nice to get my ass kicked. Nothing like being in the middle of a subway station and the to find myself low on ammo and supplies.

The PC version has been fine for me so far. It's frickin gorgeous BTW. 1920x1200 ultra high details...runs fine. Same as Far Cry 2...I love how these software guys are optimizing games these days.
