I managed an impressive achievement. I parked a helicopter near the house in the "reserved parking" spot. So, now it's mine to use whenever. Kinda crushed the car I had in the spot in the process, but it doesn't matter, since they will get fixed up and realigned once you save the game. :)

OK, I can't read through all of this.........I have had the game 2 days now, once you save a game and leave a car at the safehouse how do you have access to it? everytime I come outside there is no vehicle there. Am I missing something?

Park vehicle (car, motorcycle, or helicopter) in the yellow RESERVED PARKING zone outside your current safehouse. End.

It will stay there until you move it. I left a Banshee there at the original safehouse, and even though I don't use that safehouse anymore my Banshee is still sitting there.

The cool thing is, that even though I tore the blade of the chopper when landing it, affectively turning it into a museum piece, when you load your game up, it gets fixed up and looks as good as new :D

Someone needs to get a boat in there somehow and see if it saves it. That would be tight.

GTA5= Boat Trailers. Hell yeah!

EDIT: I just thought of something. I have seen those car transporter trucks around the city (although rarely). In theory you could you steal one of those, load up a bunch of cars on it, and park it in your spot and the game would save all the cars in that one spot. Anyone try this?

I don't think that would work. When I tried putting 15 bikes in the spot only two of them would survive the loading. It only allows you to put two vehicles, no matter how you stack them up.

I was just thinking about the transport truck myself. If you park it on the coast at the right angle you can probably get a boat on there. Then you can just drive it to your safehouse and unload it on the parking spot. That would quite possibly be the most useless vehicle there. But it would be a cool thing to do :D

I think the writing as it pertains to bringing the characters to life in this game is great. Yeah, maybe nothing in the dialogue itself is fantastic (and much is cliche) but it all comes together really well. I like the random side conversations when driving a friend in a car, a phone call made by a friend to bash you, taunt you, apologize, etc. I even found myself making sure I changed clothes before dates so I wouldn't get nagged about it. I definitely find myself caring about the characters in this game more than in most others.

I'm really taking my time with this one, doing plenty of side missions, hanging out with friends, etc, and just soaking up the world. I'm having a blast.

Mild spoilery stuff, no specifics...

So in this game, you are betrayed quite a bit, obviously. Sometimes you are also given an opportunity to allow someone to live or die. I really, really, really hope you are given that option for one of your betrayers later on in the game, because at this point I have no idea how I would react for one of them, and I'm very curious to see what I would do....

A question to those of you spending a lot of time meandering around and "taking your time". I know there are a lot of little sides missions, hidden weapons, etc to do. My question is i had read somewhere that there are side missions you can do for people who are located in the streets and they open up as you complete other missions. How do you find those people? Someone said they showed up as stick figures on the map but i've never seen that.

I ask this because i've pretty much stayed on the main plot line and while i'm still enjoying it a lot i'd like to shake things up a bit. Thanks.

Yup. They do not pop up very often in my experience, but they are there. I've found 5 or 6 and I'm at 47% completion.

Maybe a mild spoiler, but the first time I got a call from McCreary, Niko talks like he's met him before... did I miss something?

Little green stick figures. Found one last night. And it was connected to the main plot in a cool sort of way.

You have to look hard for them, though-I wasn't sure what it was when I got out of the car to investigate...

Wait, so they are found on the street map in the lower left corner while playing or are they on the main map? or both?

I saw it on the street map. I've only seen the one, but I know they're there...just never slowed down enough to see 'em.

They are on the street map and they look blue to me, not green. Who knows, maybe my TV is f***ed up, or worse, my eyes.

I recommend the always bombastic and never boring Tim Rogers' review from actionbutton.net:

http://www.actionbutton.net/?p=362

This line made me smile:

"BioShock, a recent, acclaimed, jiggling pile of protoplasm, initially tells us plenty about its world though no more about its character than that he’s the type of guy to immediately eat a bag of potato chips found in a garbage can even when he’s not hungry."

I also like his thoughts on Super Mario Bros. in relation to GTA.

Agreed. No offense Slumber, but that was a really tough read and not nearly as cleaver as I think he intended it to be. I was confused and annoyed only a few sentences in.

The review was alright. When he actually got to it. I could have probably done without his teenage masturbation fantasies, and "stuff I must write down while I am high". Maybe it's just me, though...

Are any of you getting the ZiT feature to work properly? If you go to the Social Club website, it says that any song you call the # and inquire about will get a text message telling you the name of the song, in game. Then when you log on to the Social Club (in real life), 30 second previews of all the songs you have requested will be there for you to listen to, and then purchase, if you choose.

Problem: I've done this with quite a few songs, and when I log into the Social Club, it says that I have zero songs in the queue. Anyone else run into this?
