I haven't checked this, but believe it or not, I'm ok with it for the simple fact that I HATE that teams today carry 12 and 13 friggin pitchers. Hate, hate hate it. I love the days of baseball when you routinely had 10 man staffs. So while not 21st century realistic, I'm cool w/ it. I'd rather have that than MVP's 15 pitchers and 10 hitters.dbdynsty25 wrote:Well, MLB isn't for me.
You cannot create players in Franchise/Season mode. You cannot carry more than 10 pitchers...if you try to, the game will use them as bench players, not as pitchers. So you can only pinch hit with them...you can't warm them up or anything...they treat them like normal players.
That is the dumbest thing I've ever seen and I will not play it. It's too bad too because I like the gameplay a s***load more than MVP. God I hope ASB is decent this year.
(this is all assuming I'm not missing something in the lineup configurations when trying to start a season/franchise)

Not being able to use created players in Season/Franchise mode is a much bigger deal to me. I like to create old time players and place them on their team. Cobb in Det, Ruth in NY, Frank Robinson in Cincy, maybe slap a Clemente in Pitt or a Smokey Joe Wood in Boston. If I can't do that, that kinda stinks. Not enough to stop playing, but I do that with every baseball game I take a real liking to.
