How did you change pitchers without facing at least one batter?nyisles16 wrote:nice little detail here... I was playing Col vs AZ.. I brought in a lefty pitcher to pitch the 7th inning.. AZ calls on a righty PH for their pitcher.. as soon as that happened, I called on Corpas.. sure enough, the computer brought in Clark to now PH.. I thought that was neat..

It plays just like old-school NES games:) With a whole lot more to do!sportdan30 wrote:Be sure to let me know how you like it. I'm very eager to play this game. Sweet! I'm guessing the only way to update the rosters is to do it manually? There's no way to share rosters?macsomjrr wrote:It plays just like old-school NES games:) With a whole lot more to do!sportdan30 wrote:Be sure to let me know how you like it. Unfortunately the game has no online features (the biggest problem the game has by far) so no updated rosters or online play at least on the PS2 version.sportdan30 wrote:Sweet! Wow, fun first game!
Amazes me they can have so much attention to detail in this game. Lost 3-0 to the Cubbies, but it was quite fun.
As soon as my kids hit the sack, I'm going to be up playing for a bit tonight.
How fun is it using just the wii remote and swinging like you do in the wii sports baseball game?

I think you can only use that control setup in exhibition gamesMizzouRah wrote:Wow, fun first game!

Actually you can use it in a season, but then the CPU fields and runs the bases for you.. you just pitch and hit.slyguy wrote:I think you can only use that control setup in exhibition games

Oh well.. the game is really a breath of fresh air and quite addicting. Between this a Super Mario World, I'm hooked on the Wii.

There should be an Action Replay device coming out for the Wii soon. Hopefully this will let rosters be shared. Right now there is no way to get a roster off your console and share it with anyone else.
Instead of trying to keep up with the current rosters, I've been starting to convert the rosters to classic teams. I edited the Brewers into the 1982 version.

Agreed. Game is outstanding. Only complaints have been roster related.MizzouRah wrote:I SERIOUSLY cannot believe at all the little details of baseball in this game.
Pitchers who you can tell are tired, so many nuances of known players are rendered nicely, injuries that keep players in the game, etc...
VERY IMPRESSED with this game and all it has to offer.

Thanks for reviving this thread, it motivated me to play more of this awesome game. With Spring Training around the corner, I'm ready to play some baseball. Unfortunately the Santana trade and the Twins heading into rebuilding mode takes the wind out of my sails for MLB 08 or 2k8, so I'm glad this game has an awesome expansion/fantasy draft mode.
Quick question - besides the pitcher showing obvious signs of fatigue on the mound (huffing and puffing), how do you see your pitcher's stamina during the game?
