LEAGUE NOTICE:

Guys....don't worry about what gets posted on the league page on XBL. I am manually tracking all the game results myself and that will be what counts. Use common sense if you have problems. If the game freezes, just start a new online game (outside the league interface) and pick up the score where it left off. For example, if your game freezes in the 3rd period and the score was 3-2, just start a new game and replay one period and make believe it's the 3rd period. Then just post the "real" score here.

I think there are still one ore two that haven't "joined" the league page. Please do so ASAP. It makes it easier to see when other league guys are online. Thanks.

Yes, you need to join. Games are played in any order. Everyone just plays each other twice.

LEAGUE NOTICE:

Remember guys...there is a 2 game per week minimum. The 1st week will end this Sat 11/9.

Anyone who hasn't played at least 2 games per week will receive
a -1 point deduction in the standings for each game not played. I'm sorry, but this only takes 30 min commitment per week and there will be no exceptions to this rule.

I'll be around tonight around 7pm CST to get a few games in before I tackle COD4. My availability is pretty consistent though, and can play during most days (stay home with my son) and nights after 8pm generally.

From the games tonight:

Florida - 3
Colorado - 2 (in OT)

Florida scores shorthanded with 30 seconds or so to play, Super Joe Sakic knotted the game at 2-2 with two quick goals in the third.

Colorado - 3
Atlanta - 0

Colorado dominates the play though the score could have been much worse without the stellar goaltending of Kari Lehtonen. Avalanche goals by Liles, Wolski, and Leopold.

FLA at COL

FLA wind 3-2 in OT.

great game...FLA jumped out to a 2-0 lead and then COL stormed back scoring 2 goals in 52 seconds to start the 3rd.

FLA scored shorthanded to win it in OT.
