Hey all. As Sully said, I'd love to play tonight if there's room for me. I'm currently in the OS clan, but BF2 seems to be very low on everyone's interest meter over there hence my seeking involvement in the DSP clan. Sully and a few others will vouch for me, if necessary.

Lookin' forward to gaming with you all soon....

You're more than welcome, Skerik! I'm a bit sad that the OS clan doesn't seem to be working out, though, because I was hoping there'd be at least one group of 'good guys' we could knowingly play against.

Now we just have to throw a challenge out to the internet and see who shows up.

*gulp*

Man, I wish I could make it, 'cause this game is like crack, and it'd be great to play with a regular team and get some real strategy going, but I'm otherwise engaged tonight. Maybe if I get home and everyone is still on...

Just a heads up that I don't have the game, I only downloaded and played the demo for a couple of minutes and saw that it was only playable in first person view and I could never play first person shooter games so it is not for me.

If you knew my MO, you would know I was exactly the same way before I got this game... In fact, 1p shooters would make me want to puke(motion sickness).. but this one doesn't and its just damn fun.... even though I suck.

Nah man, you don't suck...you were getting some good kills tonight. I was very impressed with all you guys. Everyone held their own against some very good players.

Hmm, from going to EA's forum, I see lots of complaints about the clan servers being down all of the time. When this happens, you can't ready up. Looks like that is what was affecting us.

Yeah that sucks that we actually got the DSP turn out but could not capitalize on it! :x

We'll have to try again soon.

We didn't fair too bad against 'regular' folks either. I'm not sure about you guys, but I had a TOTAL blast playing last night. This game is still getting better for me.

I had not played on half of those maps before and they were awesome. In fact, I cannot see why others would not like all of those maps and steer clear of them. Sure, some maps are a bit better than others, but none of them were bad by any means IMO. The diversity across them and the different strategies are so freakin' cool. I like the ones that start one side off at a disadvantage. It makes things very interesting to have to infiltrate rather than just race to the capture point.

I'm lovin' this game. Let's do a bit more research on the clan thing and try again soon! If not, the whole 'inviting friends' and then consistently joining and staying with one faction seemed to work decently. Voice chat seemed to be working fairly well last night too.

Lots of fun last night, guys. I usually end up playing "vote for the next map" games, so I hadn't ever played a few of those maps last night. That was also the most friends I've had on one team before, which resulted in the most talking and most communication I've seen in that game so far as well.

Hopefully we can get the clan stuff working too. That'll be even more fun than last night. As it was, we really worked well as a team and it seems like everyone's got a fair amount of skill in this game. We were rocking some of those maps, albeit against random people.

I'll be looking forward to playing again soon. Btw, that map with the shoreline and the oil rigs is the WORST! :)

I wish I could have been there last night but the wife was at a scrapbooking convention and it was just me and the little one all night.

That map is all about the choppers. I've been on the other side of that before where the attackers win in a wipeout. If you can get all three choppers in the air blasting the hell out of the platforms and suppressing the enemy, you're golden. One of the non-dsp guys was aware of that too, and was trying to tell us how to get the choppers across. Passengers in the choppers need to bail out as soon as they can, and hopefully send four guys to the same flag to start the assault from there.

All that said, however, the other side was very, very good at making sure we couldn't do much with the choppers, even laser targeting empty ones.

I don't think it's the best of maps either, but don't judge it based on that one experience, as I've seen it go the other way a lot.

Great time last night, thanks Web for the invite...

I am getting out of the OS clan (seems to be dead), so would it be okay to join up with you fine folks?

Yeah, Mil, I'll sign you up. I was glad you got to play with us, but you kept getting dumped on the other team.

I like how it defaults clan guys together.

I'd like to try and pull this off again. If we can't get 6 or more, let's do the 'join friends session' thing and try and all get on the same team.
