I'm not sure. What I mean is, maybe 10 Speed is worth more to the character than 10 of anything else.

Either that or Jon is one hell of a player as I lost in an exhibition match last week. I was running Blake like a yoyo but he would get back everything you throw at him.

Awesome match, Jon!
Great game. Yeah, Blake is uber-fast and Moya really matched up poorly against him. Moya is all power with no speed at all (like 2 stars I think?). I tried to come to the net and would have chances to put him away but would either net it or go wide with top spins (I think Moya's volley skill is average too). Nice match Slumberland (did your mic not work? I was trying to talk but didn't hear a response so I gave up).

I will try, I was sick the last few days, and lastnight was the worst. I woke up at 12:30am with a fever of 103.4 and let me say it sucked and was a miserable night. I can probably play but I doubt I can start as late as you would like. I need to get some sleep :) So, if you can start at say 10 est I would be willing to give it a a shot. If not it will have to wait unitl I start feeling a little better.

I probably couldn't make it any earlier than that. Just let me know when you get to feeling better and we'll get this match in.

Zeppo,

You need to award nyisles16 the match. Something is still f'd up with my Xbox and I need to figure out what's wrong with it. I can usually play for about an hour, then it just freezes. So until I can find another one, I'm going to have to bail. Sorry man.

Works for me. Go ahead and take db's spot.

Db: I hope your 360 gets to working by the time we get a second tourney going, likely a similar deal with the women Pros.

Can't wait. I'm itching to play with the chicks online... I think it will result in some longer rallies.

Any ideas on what surface to play on? Perhaps clay or grass for something different?

It's really weird...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Best case it works for an hour, but that hasn't happened in a while. I'm looking for a new one at the store, cuz I'm not relying on MS to fix it anymore.

Yeah, clay or grass definitely, since we've already done the hard stuff. I'm not sure which though. How about clay, since it's the most unique?

Any opinions?

Personally I prefer grass. Clay may bring some tedious rallies among the women's side although some prefer the long grunting. :)

Hmm. I was thinking the opposite. My experience with clay has been that it actually produces shorter rallies in the game, since it's much harder to change directions when you're being run around. I'd be up for whatever though.

Good question, Vader.

NYIsles and Sportdan: you guys have a match to finish.

Truth and Seminole: you guys also have a match to complete.

If any of you four don't want to continue, just post here and we will be able to move foward. If you want to continue, please, get your matches in soon.

Thanks!
