Dan:

I think those numbers are based on December, and there were 360s in the marketplace all 31 days of that month.

Take care,

Even though I hear the 360 is re-appearing here & there, my other concern as an owner is the lack of or rather delay of games for the new Xbox. I am still enjoying COD 2 , PDZ and NHL 2K6 but I don't think any of the launch games "WOWED" the crowd necessarily.

In fact for those DSP gamers that decide to wait or is unable to find the 360, once you do, there's a rich number of used 360 games already on your local stores.

Speaking of which, I was able to nab a used copy of both COD2 and NHL2k6 when I finally grabbed my 360 this week. Not much of a savings but it made no sense to grab the brand new copies in stock.

There is a great market on used 360 games at this point. I got 2 games for the 360 on half.com from the same owner for about 80 bucks before Christmas. Played through both of them and sold them for about 75 combined. Even cheaper than a rental. Only time I get a new game is when it is a sports game that I have to have on release day - which happens about 6 times a year.

I got ridge racer in the mail yesterday. So I opened it, put it in and BOOM. I am playing Pac-Man. Needless to say that was the best part of the game. It is already in my mailbox going back to gamesnflix

LOL!! Thanks for saving me $60. I had been itching for a new 360 game and Ridge Racer was one of the few I hadn't tried yet. I had a feeling that it sucked since no one was really talking about it anywhere.

I was the exact same way...I keep popping it back in to play PacMan....not so much Ridge Racer. That game was garbage. What's really funny is all of the mainstream sites gave it decent scores. Eeesh.

The Ridge Racer series is living off of its 1995 reputation. The first one was the main reason I chose the PS1 over the Saturn...damn that game was fun.

well i got the "good news/bad news" scenario going.. i got a call from Gamestop tonight that my preorder 360 came in.. however, the "bad news" is that cash funds (due to paying rent & such) right now are a little low.. so i guess i will call back & tell them i pass (for now) & just wait till later on in the year.. (plus too i can use the credit for downpayments on WE9 & Toca 3)..

BOO-f***in-YAAA!!

I finally was able to snatch a 360.

I got a Core system at Sears. They where 2 left and I got one of them.
Got a HD, s-video cables and PGR.

Game looks great on my tv.

So many things to do in the dashboard with marketplace and everything else.

I will get the headphones next week along with maybe NBA 2k6.

I'm happy. :D

Beware of Zuma and the arcade games, they are addicting

Seriously I've spent much more time playing the freaking arcade games than the regular titles.

No joke.

Hexic and Bankshot Billiards have probably gotten the most gametime of any of the games I own.

I actually think Geometry Wars is my favorite game right now...period. I suck at it, but I can't quit playing it.

Wow, it looks amazing.

Even on my 20" tv(s-video connection).

Can't wait to get it.

I downloaded all of the arcade games demos. Zuma is fun like you said. I may buy the full version.

w00t! Just nabbed a premium system off KMart.com. No ridiculous bundle, no 20 pounds of s*** I didn't want, just the console, and for only $8 extra for ground shipping. I've got Best Buy certificates left over from Christmas that I can use for a couple games.

Do you guys recommend getting the plug-and-play cord?

I would recommend it, and if you have anymore than one wireless controller pick up an extra battery pack for it as well.

Congrats. It does seem that more and more, the 360s inventory is building.

I don't have the play and charge kit. Haven't had to replace my batteries yet, however I don't play as frequently as everyone else does.
