Why you pick Michigan instead of Notre Dame? Just funny. I was at the BC game when Desmond returned the second half kickoff for a touchdown in the early 90's.JackDog wrote:Please do!! This is really getting tired. Every college football thread turns into a BC suckfest. What's their record aginst Michigan again??? Try 0-4. f*** BC!pk500 wrote:Thanks, Parker. Pathetic. Simply pathetic.
From now on, I'm not even going to have Jared check the IP address. If I see a post about BC coming from someone with five posts or less, that post will be deleted and that poster will be banned.
This is getting ridiculous. My 4-year-old is more mature than this jackass.
Take care,

Anyways, I will not be able to see the shootout between Texas and Texas Tech as the Head of the Charles is going on and I think being outside is a little better then being in the house. How many people hear actually know what the Head of the Charles is?

Does it have anything to do with college football? If not then well I think you have an idea about where this is heading...
Edit: Charles in Charge discussion would still be deemed acceptable. Just did not want to confuse fans of Willie Aames.

F*cking Carr doesn't know to put a game away!! 3 runs up the middle from Iowa's 45 and punt. Then go into prevent to let them drive 70+ yards to tie the game. Spinless.

Note to Carr:
If you call TO's on 3rd and 4th down, you have an minute left to win. Incomprehensible thinking! Time outs are not like freaking green stamps...you can't trade them in for toaster after the game!

You obviously haven't seen Syracuse play this season. SU has the No. 114th-ranked offense out of 119 Division I-A teams. Ohio State's offense looks like USC compared to SU.

Yes that is how he throws. Unfortuantely they just let Texas blow it open. Could have gone into the half down by a TD. Of course with Tech's offense they are never out if. Unfortuantely the defense is strugling against the run.
Starting to look like a USC/UT National Title. On the bright side BK I will finaly be rooting for USC.

Man, this game is breaking my heart. Tech has 53 freaking offensive plays in the first half, 300 total yards, +1 in turnovers, and they're down by 21. That's what happens when you give away 14 points in the kicking game. This game couldn't go any more according to plan except for special teams. The only hope in the second half is that the Texas defense gets exhausted, because they've been on the field for a long time and a lot of plays.
Two plays have done them in. The turnover in the red zone and the punt block. I honestly thought he would go for it and I know he is regretting it.billharris44 wrote:Man, this game is breaking my heart. The dagger might have been the long pass to start the 3rd for a TD.

Tim, I can understand how you'd think that if you only saw Tech play one game, but Texas has better starting athletes at probably 18 of positions (everything but the three wide receivers and running back--I think bdoughty can back me up on that). I don't think any scheme in the world is going to compensate for that. It's probably a testament to the scheme that they were undefeated up to this point.
Their defense is good enough to win against anyone they'll play this year except Texas (not that they will will their last four, necessarily, but they're not going to be overwhelmed talent-wise). To take the next step, they're going to have to significantly upgrade their defensive line and improve their special teams.
If they do win their last four, they'll be on the edge of the Top Ten. I think their fair ranking is somewhere between 10-20. That's a bad year for some of the best programs, but going 10-1 and being #15 or something like that would be a terrific year for Tech.

One would say the same thing about Notre Dame going up against USC...and Charlie schemed em pretty damn well.billharris44 wrote:Tim, I can understand how you'd think that if you only saw Tech play one game, but Texas has better starting athletes at probably 18 of positions (everything but the three wide receivers and running back--I think bdoughty can back me up on that). Agree with everything you said Bill. OU is probably the only team left on Tech's schedule where they have to play someone with more overall "talent." I feel Tech has surpassed A&M in that department. I can now safely go back to rooting for OU in that game, with my eyes closed while they are on offense.
A 1 or even 2 loss season is a special one for Tech. They do have to go to Waco next week and if Leach does not have them ready it could be a tight game. Tech is always up for A&M at home and Oklahoma St is simply awful this year.
Sigh, I remember a time when Baylor travelling to Norman was a gimmie.

I guess I should root for Texas now since I have already taken down OU and Tech this year. Plus I killed Purdue by picking them to win the Big 10.bkrich83 wrote:Texas is a great team, but the rest of the Big 12 is a complete joke this year. Texas will coast the rest of the way in to the Rose Bowl.
BD, don't root for USC. They've done just fine with you rooting against them, don't screw up their mojo.
OU getting taken to OT by Baylor. If they lost to the Bears at home I would not be able to go to work on Monday.
