Some Forza custom designs...
Some people have way too much time on their hands. The southpark one is pretty cool though.

You have to break anything down that you want to do as a series of polygons.
Like with this:

I knew I wanted to make a Cingular guy. So I laid an orange box down, then placed 4 black circles on the sides, making the "X" shape. Then I dropped 4 orange circles on the edges to make it bulbous at the end, then added the head.
I used the kind of 'swoosh' shape, rotated and tilted for the other swipe.
This car was pretty easy. Doing a replica Jimmie Johnson Lowe's car last night was a bear, but it came out pretty nice. I just don't have a shot of that one yet.
You can build anything since almost anything you can think of can be created with a series of shapes placed on top of one another.[/img]

NO! I wish you could...it would make cutting and pasting so much easier. Instead, you have to copy and paste/resize/rotate each layer individually.ScoopBrady wrote:Terry,
Once you have all the layers for the Cingular logo can you then merge them into one layer like Photoshop?
And it's not as tough as you guys think...it's just a bunch of shapes. You just have to think backwards sometimes. Break a shape down into multiple simple polygons and then just start stacking them. It's not unlike using building blocks in kindergarten.
The Lowe's car is something I like even more than the Cingular one, but only because it was tough to make something look like a "real" car.

Well, I tried my hand at a custom car, inspired by the rig i'm currently building that will run AMD 64 3200+ Venice

Wow, Scoop, that 34-Bears car is bad-ass!
You guys either are more talented artists or more clever to figure out the decals and colors. Probably both.
For now, I have sized a few Saab logos all over my jet-black Saab 9-3. Put a checkered flag logo on the roof under the Saab logo, too.
Take care,
PK

Actually, I think www.imageshack.us is easy enough for a 2 year old.
The "Official" DSP Mobile!
I spent about an hour and a half earlier working on this, which I guess could be hailed the "Official" DSP Mobile.
It turned out really good IMO, what is the verdict from the mass of professional painters?
