If it's a GTA clone and it plays well I'm all for it.

I was in the same boat as Badgun for a bit. I felt that the gameplay of the PS2 version was superior to the 360 version, particularly in the "user control" department.

With that being said, I continued to play the 360 version more and more because it feels fresh and is a lot of fun.

I've had my 360 conntected online through a D-Link DL-524 router via wireless connection. Recently I'm having trouble connecting to people that I used to play regularly and every game I play is laggy.

I think I may have jacked up some of my settings and was hoping somebody ...

What I'm really digging about the current gen version of this game is that playing as a DB feels very much like 2004.

Online the other night was choppy but I just played again and it was very smooth.

I've been playing more and more today and the more I become familiar with the controls and gameplay engine the more I realize that All American is like Varsity of years past.

I just took CU into Happy Valley on default All American level and layed the wood....48-16. Like that's gonna happen anytime ...

PS2 runs quite smooth actually.

I'm probably not the best guy to ask when it comes to kicking because I use the Buffs who have Mason Crosby 99 rated with a leg from hell (he's hit from 70 in practice up in Boulder).

I just pull down unti the meter is full then push strait up. Nothing more ...

I scored the 360 version today as well. I'll post my opinoin on what I feel is the better buy here (based on early impressions) even though it's the current gen impression thread.

After playing just 6 games of the PS2 version (2 of which were online) and 2 games of the 360 version I think right now ...

Basic impressions after just a couple of games online and a few games offline.

I agree. It's like everyone is weightless. Or that I don't feel grounded... hard to explain. However, in this demo it just seems like I'm not in control of what's going on.

I haven't played the demo yet, but a buddy of mine who has had the PS2 version for nearly two weeks now and is eagerly awaiting his 360 copy isn't fealing the 360 ver at all.

Says it doesn't play nearly as well as the curent gen ver, but admits it's hard to tell from 1 min qtrs and doesn't know how ...
