When will we see another Sprint Car game?

 Sadly, I would say that a sequel to World of Outlaws Sprint Car Racing -- hands down the best console racer of 2002 -- is unlikely.
 
 I got to know a guy on the development team, and he told me the only reason WoO was ported to the PC was to throw a bone to the World of Outlaws sanctioning body, which was disappointed with the sales of the PS2 version.
 
 So, the game didn´t meet anyone´s sales expectations, which is a shame. Not sure if the expectations were too high or the sales too low, or a combination of both.
 
 WoO is a remarkable console oval racing experience, blowing every other oval game I´ve played -- including NASCAR Heat and IndyCar Series -- off the track.

It is really a tragedy that the sales for this title were so poor. This is the best racing game ever kicked out on a console. I picked this game up the day it came out and still play the hell out of it to this day. Anyone who hasn´t checked this title out, do yourself a favor and do so. If you do, you might as well save yourself the trouble of a second trip and just go buy it. I have seen it brand new at EB for $19.99.

 Absolutely, man.
 
 WoO for the PS2 shares the pantheon with F355 and Metropolis Street Racer for the Dreamcast as the greatest console racers I´ve ever played, and I´ve played a good chunk of them on the PSX, PS2, DC and Xbox.
