Next week, 3 games with some impressive previews come out for the comic book geek in all of us:
Marvel Nemesis: The Imperfects - An EA fighting game that takes some of the top Marvel superheroes and pits them against a new breed of enemy, named the Imperfects. This is also important because Marvel plans on doing a new comic mini-series, possibly more, on the Imperfects.

X-Men Legends II - Rise of Apocalypse - X-Men Legends was an awesome Gauntlet style game with planety of RPG elements, and a good story. This game gets better in that you can use not only the X-Men, but join forces with the Brotherhood to battle against Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, and others. Bonuses include double the mutant powers available, and double most characters available costumes (cosmetic thing for most, but for comic book fans a cool feature).

Ultimate Spider Man - What I hope to be the best game fo the bunch. Think Spiderman 2, only cell shaded, based in the Ultimate universe (written by Brian Michael Bendis who made storylines much better than the original series; factoid: The USM comics were editted by Ralph Macchio) and you have possibly the best comci book game to date. Oh yeah, you can play as Venom, as well, both with different powers (i.e Venom must 'feed' on the energy of innocents to maintain playing the game). Games looks awesome from the trailers, and a lot of the demos have been called 'addictive - even for a demo'. I have my hopes high -

I'm still (slowly) working my way through the first X-men Legends game. What I really want is a full-blown game like the skirmish modes from Legends. Let me pick two groups of mutants, a location, and let 'em have at it.
I'll wait to hear reviews on the other 2, but Legends 2 may end up being a purchase next week.
