anyone still playing Links 2004?

Post by spooky157 »

I know this is an oldie but I found it for $10 at this outlet center yesterday. I'm totally hooked. I played for 5 hours straight last night. I know the Links 2004 ship has already set sail for most of you guys. I'm bummed that I missed out on all the tourneys that must've been going on here at DSP. I looked online for a game last night but there wasn't a single one to be found. Anybody here still playing?

I play it offline from time to time. I also noticed there was nobody playing online. That's a shame because it's a fun online game.

Links and Rivals. The crown jewels of MSN online. Both like crack, easy to pick up and hard to put down.

Maybe we can setup a game night this weekend? Anyone else interested who still has the game? I really miss playing that game online. It was one of those few online games where you could play with randoms and not worry about cheese.

I still have it, and break it out every once in a while. I recently purcahsed the 2 extra courses via Xbox Live. When I've ventured online I didn't see anyone either. It's amazing how fast games get forgotten about. To me, Links is just as good as any new titles. It doesn't feel old at all.

I'd be interested in a four player skins match this weekend. There's a chance I might be out of town but if I'm not I'd definitely like in. This game is so accessible and addicitve.

I still play it regularly. In fact, I have a 4-man tournament starting this weekend with some guys from work. Inside Drive still has legs, too, IMO.
