I finally got around to making my Red Sox tribute video. I dabble in video production and figured it would be fun to give the Sox a fitting music video recapping their 2004 Championship and the years of heartache that preceeded it. I invite you to have a look at the link below...

PS> I stole the video content (obviously) from a DVD and TV show, and cut it together in Final Cut to match the song I selected. The lyrics match nicely and I've timed some segments to fit what's being sung. If your a copyright attorney, please forgive me.

I tried to get Jack and James, but they're in 'rockstar' mode and told me that they couldn't risk having it interpreted that they supported any one sports franchise; they don't want to jeopardize alienating their fans.
I do not appear in the video. I thought about adding some personal photos (I was at game 2 of the World Series) and wore my Sox shirt for each of the Yankee games, but I decided the video would benefit from being spared my fat ass.

I'm a Yankee fan so it hurt to watch, but it was really well done. Good pick on the song, and all the video was put together well.
Lately I've kind of been getting into making videos like this. Made a tribute to the Yankees late 90's dynasty, and a video of last years Jets. They aren't nearly as good as this video though.

Having the right tools helps. I used Final Cut for this, even though I could've gotten away with just using iMovie.
Let me know if there is any assistance I can offer you.
That said, nothing featuring the Yankees can be good.
