DSP Fantasy Football League?
Would anybody be interested in having a DSP fantasy football league through NFL.com? It's free again this year and I thought it might be cool to have a league with some DSPers. It could be for fun or for cash. Any interest?

I'm up for any of the 3. I've never tried ESPN's fantasy football. I didn't even know they had a free version.
I was under the impression that anyone who preordered Madden was supposed to get a fantasy football league manager account for free. I never received it though. Did anyone who preordered get it?

LOL How am I doing in that league? Seriously I think I retired from that league before it even started. I don't even recall what my blog was.Sully wrote:Just make sure you stay active! I'm in, but i would like to lobby for SOME type of league fee, even if it's $10 per man or something. It simply creates a more interested group, drafting is taken more seriously, and as someone posted earlier, it will avoid people doing absolutely nothing once the draft is over. My $.02.
But either way i'm in.

Hey now I did absolutely nothing before or during the draft.RallyMonkey wrote: and as someone posted earlier, it will avoid people doing absolutely nothing once the draft is over.

Of course since I am already touted as the guy who ruins all the fun, I will resign before it even starts. That would be my 2cents and feel free to throw in another 23 cents to have me call someone who cares.

Ok, we'll do a 10 man league. $10 per person with a 75/25 split for the Super Bowl.
We'll do it through ESPN with a live draft.
We'll go with 2 5-team divisions with 4 teams making the playoffs. The schedule will go 14 games with the playoffs being week 15 and 16.
Rosters will be 14-man rosters with a 15th slot for IR.
The starting lineup will consist of:
1 QB
1 RB
2 WR's
1 RB or WR
1 TE
1 Def/ST
1 K
The roster limits will be no more than:
2 QB's
4 RB's
4 WR's
2 TE's
2 Def/ST's
2 K's
There's flexibility in the scoring system but I would suggest a scoring/yardage system like this unless anyone has major problems with it.
6 points per touchdown (no bonuses for length)
1 point for every 25 passing yards
1 point for every 10 rushing and receiving yards
-1 point for every interception your qb throws
1 point for every interception, fumble recovery, and sack for your defense
The standard point system for points allowed.
Those who said they are in for sure (let me know if you've changed your mind):
Jackdog
XXXIV
RobVarak
RallyMonkey
Brando70
Sully
Those who are interested (let me know if you're in or not)
Snate
Bdoughty
That leaves 2 definite openings. I will set up the league when we have it filled. I ask that all money be sent to me via Paypal before the live draft. Next question is when to have the draft. Any suggestions?
