OS is reporting that infogrames has removed all release date info and other stuff from their website for this Xbox title. Speculation is that it has been canned for Xbox and Crammond is off working on a patch for the PC version.

GP4 for Xbox... canned?
James:

I read this link at OS and became crestfallen. This would be a major, major bummer if true.

EB.com and Amazon.com still have this game listed as an upcoming release. Gamestop.com has a release date of February 2003.

So who knows?

But if GP 4 is canned for the Xbox, at least I can take solace that there´s no good F1 game for the PS2 or GC, either, as F1 2002 and F1 2001 by EA Sports are dogsh*t.

Still, a bummer. Sega GT 2002 is surprisingly good, though. Picked it up last week, and I´m having fun with it. A very realistic driving and racing model, even if it is a GT3 clone in structure, with some fun wrinkles.
Take care,
