Both eb and gamestop show a shipping date of 2/22/05.Looks like they are trying to beat 2k5 to the punch.

Due to the loss of one week's worth of QA, all right-handed fielders will be unable to complete a throw to third base.

But seriously, I'll take it. That's four days away! Crazy.

I'm still not buying it right away. Seriously, last year they played the same game with the release dates and look what we got: No walks, no steals and a lefty bug. The Xbox version was the biggest dissapointment since Football Pro '99.

This year they have to prove to me that they can release a good baseball game on a console. The only thing that saved the PC version was the patch and a highly dedicated mod community.

Kicko,

Would they not allow you to use the $9.99 trade-in towards the PC version? I though you could trade in any 05 EA Sports game for ANY version of MVP (Xbox, PS@, GC, and PC) I could be wrong. I traded for the Xbox version, but might buy the PC if I find it enjoyable.

Still, a week early is a double-edged sword !!

XPlay did a review of MLB2006 already.

Usually, they review a bit after the games are released.

So maybe these publishers are jockeying to the pole position.
