ID Basketball 2004 Tournament
I refuse to let this great game die out, so I want to continue playing the game with dedicated players online. I set up a tournament for 4 players to keep it simple. Two rounds with three games per round, you'll be playing 3-6 games depending if you win the first round. Please don't ask to join out of pure excitement, but because you have time and willing to play out all your games in a period of 6 days. Round 1 start on Feb 21 and ends on Feb 23, the championship round ends Feb 26. You can play all your games in one sitting if your opponent agrees, send me a PM or email if you want in.

I've got a couple too many online commitments already that are hard enough to keep up on, but I just wanted to give ID 2004 some more props... as if it needed them. Came in the mail today, and it's such a pleasure to not know what the CPU is going to do every time down the floor, and to know that my teammates will set screens off the ball and try to get open. Why did I ever get rid of it in the first place? Must have been right after the NBA season was over, and I figured there'd be a 2005.
Now that that guy from the ID team is working on the 2K game, dare I dream?

I'm using some updated rosters and finding the game very easy on veteran level. I'll try the default rosters and see if it's more challanging. I'm using the Lakers who are rated 75 in the updated rosters vs the Pistons. I won by 15 points and never felt challange. I remember playing on veteran last year and the CPU handed me some severe beatings. God I love the camera angles in this game, wish some of the newer games used them.

There's really no way to create downloadable rosters for ID2004, because the roster is not stored as a separate file. Anyone can update the rosters on their own version of the game, but the best you can do after that is create a season file for other people to download. The rosters wouldn't be available for exhibition games or online games.
