Any Plans for DSP Baseball Leagues?
First of all, I want everyone to know how much I enjoy these forums. I'm the guy that reads them everyday, but never posts much.
That's about to change.
I was just curious if there are any plans for leagues this year with any of the crop of baseball titles?
I've already preordered MVP and MLB2K5 and am strongly reconsidering purchasing a PS2 for MLB 2006 and a PSP for when I travel this summer.
I was an initial member of the DSP NFL2K5 league, but my Xbox Live service would never allow me to connect to another player (since been fixed...stupid firewall).
I'm itchin' for baseball season more than I have in the last 5 years.
I got the bug...whatta 'bout you?
P.S. Go Mets (hint, hint)

We plan on offering leagues for all three games at http://www.SportsGamingNation.com

Yea, we kind of need to weed out and find which game is going to have a following first... otherwise its going to be a 2-week league.Slumberland wrote:This thread is terribly premature.
Not to mention the need to see if any of the games even play well online. I don't think any of them did last year unless there was some heavy tweaking.
After seeing the success of Granatofan's Winning Eleven 8 offline league, I'm strongly considering running one for the baseball games. It eliminates the need to schedule games with an opponent and any online issues. It's also open to players on any platform (Xbox or PS2).skidmark wrote: Not to mention the need to see if any of the games even play well online.
