Where's everybody watching the game?

Post by lexbur »

I was wondering if anyone here had any interesting plans for the Super Bowl.

SI's got an interesting article this week rating the top 25 sports bars in the country. They rank The Fours in Boston as #1.

I can't see paying inflated bar prices for beer/food for 4+ hours. I'll be watching it at home, like usual, saving up for the big Super Bowl party I'll have when the Browns finally make it. Of course by then I'll probably be on social security or in a nursing home, so I may have to scale down the party plans a bit.

My brother has an annual Super Bowl blowout at his house with about 40 people, food, booze, gambling rings, etc. We'll be there, as usual!

Take care,

I think you guys should be careful using those 'words'. To not get DSP in toruble let's refer to it as "The Big Game" from now on please.

s***, right here.... I didn't buy this 70 inch TV for the hell of it. I'm sure we will run madden and WE8 in PIP though, effectively reducing the effect.

My buddy always throws a big bash. Of course, this is the first time I'll actually give a damn about the results of the Super Bowl, so I don't know how much fun I'll be able to have, especially if the Pats D gets in Donovan's head early.

I watch it at home every year. I like watching the game without interruption and being at a Super Bowl party messes that up. I'd watch any other Championship game at a party but not football.

In my living room with my eight-year-old son, and anyone else who cares to join us.

I have been to one Super Bowl party in my life and I don't ever intend to do it again.

I will listen to Czech play-by-play on my oak-bodied shortwave radio from my cabin atop the Ozark mountains.

I will be at Pat O'Brien's in the French Quarter during Mardi Gras. Our company has reserved the entire 2nd floor and balcony overlooking Bourbon Street. They have rented 6 60" plasma screens to go with the open bar....should be a hoot, especially since my company is paying for everything....
