nhl2k5 questions

i decided to buy my first game in like 6 months and i got nhl2k5

are there some good settings cuz as it is now, the ice almost seems like glue... the puck doesnt move fast and it's not as fluid as nhl2k4 was.... also i can not for the life of me figure out how to dive like you could in 2k4.. can anyone tell me ? also it appears the robot goalies are back.... but this is after only 1 game... anyone who has some knowledge of this game give me some tips to best enjoy it... its been so long since i even played xbox i am rusty haha

Grog's sliders are pretty much gold.They're here and at ESPNhockey.net.They should take care of most of your issues with the game.

Started with Pro, moved up to All-Star.

Start with Pro until you win often, and then climb to All-Star.

iwant to start a season... can i start it on pro and change it up to all star once i get going or no ? cuz i dont wanna play 1/2 a season adn then have to start over cuz pro is too easy

btw i plan to be philly... what team is a good team but not overpowering that would be good to use for a season ?

I don't believe you can switch skill levels mid-season. I may be wrong on that.

As for a good but not dominant team, Philly is a solid choice. Other choices along those lines are San Jose, Ottawa and Calgary.

The dominant teams in this game are Detroit, Toronto, Colorado and Tampa Bay.
