Made the trip up to Green Bay for the Monday night game between the Packers and Rams. It was by far and away the best football experience I've ever had and I've had quite a few including KC and Chicago not to mention St. Louis. If you've never been to Lambeau Field for a game I highly recommend it. Hats off to the people of Wisconsin and the Packers fans who treated me and three of my friends with nothing but class the whole game. I can't really explain it...it's just something you have to experience. My friends and I are going to make it an annual trip.

You were treated with class at a Packers game????!!!!! Try wearing a Bears shirt next time and find out about the Packers "class". Or you can wait til Favre retires and a harsh return to the days of the 80s and see the real Packer fan at his best.tjung0831 wrote:Made the trip up to Green Bay for the Monday night game between the Packers and Rams. I was there for a Bears game in 99. It was great! It snowned and the Pack won. It was my best NFL experience to date. Nothing like cheese curds and beating the Bears.tjung0831 wrote:Made the trip up to Green Bay for the Monday night game between the Packers and Rams. I'm surprised the crowd was so civil on a Monday night. Of course, a lot of people probably had to work and couldn't start drinking until later.
I've been to a lot of Steeler games and the crowd hostility is indeed in direct proportion to the opponent. You would have a lot different experience wearing a Jets or Chargers jersey as compared to a Browns or Ravens jersey.

Yeah, that's pretty much the norm at any NFL stadium. My car was rocked by fans while trying to park once at Rich Stadium in Buffalo during the early 90s because my cousin's fiancee was wearing a Dolphins' jersey. What game were we attending? Bills-Dolphins late in the season, with the AFC East on the line.
If she had worn a Seahawks' jersey to that game, no one would have cared.
Take care,
PK
