CONGRATS to the Red Sox

Post by pk500 »

Red Sox showed the heart of a champion in the ALCS and the killer instinct of a champion in the World Series.

The best team won.

Congrats to the World Champions, the Boston Red Sox.

Take care,
PK

Amazing stuff! I can't believe how dominant they were in the series. The Cardinals were just completely shut down and I figured that their offense would make the series very close.

Has Tony Larussa managed as many losing teams in the world series as Bobby Cox?

Best wishes,

Doug

I think my avatar speaks volumes when I say that I can really appreciate where you Red Sox fans are right now. Congratulations, you guys deserve it.

Now we can only hope they burn down all of Boston...including Gillette stadium. Then maybe the Dolphins can beat the Pats.

Oh yeah...and hopefully Parker gets his ass kicked during the riots. (just playin'...kinda)

Congratulations to the Red Sox. Being a Cardinals fan, I am hurting right now, but you cant deny they outplayed us. 1982 is not as long ago as 1918. Im just glad it wasnt the Yankees or the Cubs winning.

Congrats and on a personal note. Thank God it is over. Now I can get new episodes of Malcom and Arrested Development.

Yah, it wasn't easy at times, but I knew they would win it all the whole time, which is why I never bailed on them.

Congrats to the Red Sox (and this is from a Yankee fan). It was well deserved.

And Parker....shouldn't you be out celebrating and not starting flame wars? :)

I am not going to rain on your parade tonight. Your team has waited for this for 86 years. Enjoy the victory and for all the Red Sox fans out there be safe while doing so.

I suppose when they were down 3-0, THEY had bailed on YOU.

For some reason I remember you having a Patriots avatar...

What's wrong with changing to the Pats avatar before their games? They may not be in the playoffs yet, but I am a big fan and they deserve my support too.

I already did extensively. I regret it, but it was a result of losing a bet, not actually wanting to give up on them.

Nothing is wrong, go out and celebrate. It has been 86 years and you are celebrating on a computer.

We will discuss the white flag, Patriots Avatar and missing message board posts later. ;)

Um Parker what you're doing right now, I mean the things you are saying. You kind of remind me of a Yankees fan, that is just how they would act.

I was celebrating downtown just like I did after the ALCS. But as I recall, numerous people asked where the hell was I after the ALCS so I figured I would pop in sooner.

What a great job by the BoSox. 86 years, I'll bet quite a few Sox fans thought they would never get to witness something like this.

Congrats!

P.S. The Yanks will be back next year.

I'm sure the Evil Empire will be devestated next year when they sign Beltran.

As I said tonight in the TOCA 2 race, the best thing about the Red Sox sweep is that we can now all concentrate on football a bit earlier than we thought. Not a damn thing wrong with that. :)

Take care,
PK
