DSP NCAA league

Post by Andy76 »

Is this pretty much canceled due to lack of interest in NCAA 2005? I played one game with Trojanman, but haven't seen anyone else on lately.

It's too bad, I'm still having fun despite the game's flaws.

I've tried to play but no one is ever on. You should check out the FGN leagues, they are more organized.

I was wondering the same thing. Vader and I are the only ones who have played Division 2. I'm willing to keep the game to finish the league, but will probably dump it if the league folds.

That is exactly my plan. Just waiting till someone makes a decision...I was very close to just dumping it and bailing on the league...but I made a commitment to you guys.

Let's get a roll call to see who's still interested. I am, I've just been terribly busy the last few weeks. We can either alter or dump the league, depending on who's stilll interested in playing.

Also, it will probably help to schedule actual times to play with your opponents. It's really difficult to get games just by hopping online and seeing if anyone is around....so you might want to try and schedule people that are still interested (that is, IF there are enough people that are still interested).

Madden and ESPN are my choices this year. Never thought I'd like Madden...

I'll play in the league if it remains up and running, but my preference is not to play it. I think I'll eBay NCAA if the DSP league folds.

I vote to fold as well. The game just isn't that fun compared to the other two.

I'm in Division 2 and I haven't seen anybody on at all. Of course the only owners of teams in Division 2 that I know who they are is Vader, K Moss, and Squid. I'll play in the league if it continues but I wouldn't be heart broken if it folded. Maybe a Madden League would have more interest?

For those of you also signed up in pacuca's league... if you're getting rid of NCAA you should go quit his league NOW, before the season starts.

I'm in if we keep going. If not, I guess I'll be forced to play randoms online.

No reason to re-hash everyone's complaints with this game, but I still think it's a fun game. It's never been a more technically proficient sim than Madden, and that's just something I've come to accept. College football is my favorite sport, so I'll keep playing. I guess the fun comes from hearing Rocky Top and beating Bama. Maybe it's just a southern thing.

I can get you in. Just see what teams are still available and tell me which one you want.

Make sure you PM me (Jason) at FGN and not Pac. I'm handling the league accounts.

Thanks

Well, just take me out of the league if you would. The game just doesn't interest me. I will continue on in the ESPN league and I'll likely join your Madden league as well. Those two games are actually good.

I am probably leaning toward no NCAA league, just because I too am very underwhelmed by the game this year. But I don't want to bail on others if it does remain open.

I'm heading out for vacation tomorrow through all of next week, so I can't sell my game yet anyway. I'll stay if the league stays in some form, fold if it folds.

The game (and, as a side effect, the league) can go straight to the land of the Horned One, as Phil Hendrie would say.
but really, this is 2004, and nearly everything is considered to be gay now
