We apologize for taking the site down. Our employer discovered our identities and determined that it was a conflict of interest for us to operate this site. We thought that we could remain more anonymous.

Yeah, that s*** was only ever funny to a small number of people, and it´s amazing to me that those people (that person?) still think(s) it´s friggin hillarious--amazing because nobody really cares anymore. Nobody has for a really long time!

In other words, Matt has to return to school to teach Monday, with few extended breaks until summer.
 
 So the site dies.
 
 Any coincidence that we´ve seen a flurry of activity at SR in the last two weeks, when Matt has been off from his job as a teacher?
 
 A familiar pattern, and pretty simple to see. Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt, as David Brent said in "The Office."

I am sure that some of you know Matt alot better than me, but I still don´t think he was the one posting over there. Is it possible he had turned the site over to some of his students? The writing sure seemed very immature, and certainly did not contain the wit and sarcasm that Matt was actually very good at.

Actually, Matt wasn´t a very good review writer. From the beginning, his sentences were short and choppy; he had no idea how to use conjunctions and connecting words that make paragraphs and sentences smoother. He would just break up his sentences whenever he ended his thoughts, so all his reviews were comprised of short sentences within short paragraphs. It was too much to take sometimes, and I just glossed over alot of his reviews. The reviews that were up with the latest management reeked of the old Matt style.

 Matt sent my wife E-mails while I was in Iraq and the hospital. Resin f*cked with my wife when she posted at SR to give my friends updates on my status.

Why even bother discussing SR anymore? Every few months things get shaken up, followed by the promise of "big things coming".
 
 The last semi-interesting thing in those forums was the whole BDoughty/Resin war, and only in a train wreck, turn your head to watch the carnage sort of way. Resin and the other username (could be the same guy) got thier asses handed to them in that argument.
 
 I bet that out of the dozen or so new SR posters over there (including the mafia managers of the site), there´s maybe 3 real people behind the whole bunch.

 I wish I could explain why I still go over there. Me and JD made a pact to stay away from that place and I still can´t resist. With Resin it was simply because he had a vendeta against me and would attack every little thing I did at OS.

 Someone let me know that I had been threatened on this board and at first I wasn´t going to respond, but considering the fact that I have done nothing to malign anyone on this board I felt the need to at least say something.
 
 Jackdog, what have I done to you to make you say the things you are saying about me? All I did was try to encourage you during a trying time in your life and be supportive of your wife and kid. I even wanted to visit you in the hospital and/or send you something when you got back. I never said anything bad about you or your family, yet you started saying nasty things about me once the forum rules changed. That´s fine that you may not have liked the way I wanted to run my forum, but it´s a bunch of BS when you start making threats against someone who has tried to be nice to you. Actually, the more I think about it, I don´t really care that much about your threats as much as I do the fact that you decided to crap on someone who tried to be a friend.
 
 All others, let it rest. Some of you are truly f´d in the head, despite the fact that you say that I am. I have nothing to do with gaming sites and forums any longer and haven´t had anything to do with them for some time now other than keep in touch with a few people I met along the way. Believe what you will and make up stories all you want, but let it be known that I have only posted as myself at SR and am not resin, siam, superior man, hipe, etc... I´m not the evil bipolar butthole that some people have tried to characterize me as. Reading through the untrue stuff that people have said about me without any grounds makes me feel like the stable and normal one. I guess it´s easy to pile on someone when they are not around to defend themself.
 
 Again, I really didn´t want to respond to this garbage but it bothered me that people who I have done no harm to (unless having a different philosophy over a gaming forum´s rules is something awful) continue to spread lies about me, twist the truth, and even make threats. Please try to control your imaginations and do something more productive than make libelous posts on a gaming forum.
