Injustice 2

Post by Teal »

Anyone else pick this up? I thoroughly enjoyed the first one, and this one is deeper than that. Lots of customization options for characters, an RPG element, good story mode, and I've barely scratched the surface.

I think it's pretty great. I'm really nothing more than a button smashing fight game player, but this seems to scratch the same itch as Soul Caliber, but with an interesting story. Don't really care about the story all that much, but it's okay.

But with recognizable characters, it's fun to learn each of their special moves. I think this is the only fighter I need for this generation. I'd probably still look at Soul Caliber, but I may like this better anyway.

Not sure about playing online, as I'm sure I will just get mopped up.

Oh hell, I know better than to play online... Lol. I'm a button masher myself, so I'd be toast. Think I'll look into the new marvel-capcom game too. Those games seem a bit more button masher friendly. But this one's really good. Lots to do.

For whatever reason, this game was really never on my radar despite the fact that I was a big fan of the original game on the Xbox 360. Probably because this thing was delayed countless times so I stopped following it. Well a couple weeks ago I grabbed it and I can't stop playing it. It is so fun to play and I like how diverse the pot of characters are. But what really has me hooked is the "loot" system and how you can build up each character to take them fighting to the multiverse. Each day it seems like there is a fresh round of fights to do. I'm probably about a quarter of the way through the story mode, and that is well done, but I always find myself going to the multiverse to unlock Mother Boxes to get more loot!

I'm not the best fighter in the world, so Teal, if you ever see me playing and want to kick someones ass, hit me up!

Lol, you're making some serious assumptions of my ability, Ace...

Supposedly Injustice 2 Legendary Edition (includes all DLC) is due out in March. Amazon leaked and took down the link.
